I learned a lot about your build and a few other's in this thread .As far as the video's I didn't watch any of those would have taken me forever . As far as this platform goes I didn't learn much that I didn't know already. The fact that I had a build engine 7 years ago and drove it for 20k miles it didn't blow up helps my learning curve big time with this platform. My build this time started last year March I already decided then to build this one stronger that the last one it's the reason I went with the RJM closed deck block I don't want to deal with head gasket issues or cylinder's shifting and cracking over 800whp I have seen some nasty pictures. my old built short block is still in once piece. Hell I even snapped my transmission input shaft back then like butter that I still have pictures of lol.
That closed deck isn’t going to solve the head gasket issues, either o ring the block, or wait and see how cjm vr head bolt conversion goes. That car he helped built is a open deck with a 1069whp.

Spill the beans if you can. Obviously some peps are having issues and not talking.

Oh trust me I am waiting to see how the CJM head bolt conversion does. I'm also not 100% sold the RJM closed deck block will hold but for the price of the bare block you can't beat it. I have looked high and low it's just not many people on this platform pushing over 800 plus WHP. Even after all these year's it's still a learning curve on this platform. I don't mind at all sitting back in the 800-850WHP range and watching.

I forgot to mention. The video's are where all the good stuff is. Especially about machine work. Those were the learning opportunities.

Hey I have no doubt that those videos had good information but when trying to crash course 100 plus page thread I had to skip by something lol.

One of the guys that posted on my thread broke his also. He was running an OS Giken clutch. His car was build by MA Motorsports also. His next step is a Hollinger Sequential.

I will say this once again. The ATS Triple Carbon clutch is outstanding. Pedal pressure is close to stock. Modulation is easy. It feels like a stock clutch. This clutch is worth every penny I paid for it. Too bad you don't see it used more often.

I haven't had any issues with mine and I have been in 102 deg temps running it hard. Guess I am glad I did what I did.
