I got out of the Air Force in June of 1970.
Processed out from Nakhon Phanom Royal Thai Air Base and headed to Travis AFB California for discharge.
But before I left NKP I had to get some go home innoculations and sign off from the dispensary.
At that time I received 2 GG shots - one in each arm.
What's a GG shot, you ask?
Gamma Globulin it is and it forms a large lump just under your skin and hurts like all get out for at least a day until your system absorbs it.
You are only supposed to get 1 GG shot -and- it's supposed to be in your buttocks - not your arms.
Needless to say I couldn't move my arms for a day or so ... making it near impossible to put my uniform on and even carry my duffle bag to the C-130 to Bangkok.
Would find out later that the tech that [purposely] gave a double dose of GG was having a particularly bad day and was pissed off at the world.
I think he may have checked one too many peckers on the VD line.
And so it was in SEA back in the Vietnam War era.
Fond memories of my time in the Air Force

The poor guy was tired of doing short arm inspections. And took it out on you. Or he was pissed that you're out of there, and he's stuck.

Very familiar with the Gamma Globulin shots. LOL I have had several. When I was deployed to Somalia they looked at my shot records and laughed. You get 6 shots. 2 in each arm and one in each hip. Some poor fool got 7. Getting on the C5 was a freaking challenge. 2 sore arms and one tall steep ramp. It sucked. I was in the Air Force also. 1989 to 1993, back to school I went.

PFT??? or PT. When I was in Somalia, I use to watch the Marines do PT every morning. Mt. Dew in hand smoking a Marlboro in my lounge chair. LOL When the Mt. Dew ran out it was coffee.

I don't like needles either. I am the guy who says don't let me see the needle or I will run real fast. Someone asked me if I had any tattoo's once. I laughed and said Hell NO.

No a legit PFT. Physical Fitness Test. Pullups , situps and 3 mile run. It's like having to do a rifle qual or equipment inspection the week before you EAS. They were mad I decided not to reinlist at the last minute.

I'm laughing my *** off. I was in Manila at the Embassy. I had avoided the Gamma Globulin for 2 months. They sent an embassy nurse and the State Department Regional Security Officer to a Comm post I was manning in the city. RSO took the post while I was told to take the shot. Felt like a spike went in my *** cheek, opened up and another red hot spike came out of that one. I will fight somebody with a syringe of that stuff.

Glad you guys liked my GG story ...
I actually 'bumped' in to the guy on an NKP Forum.
Since he was there same time I was I asked him if he knew anything about it.
He sort of admitted that it was he who did the deed - but then said:
Back then I wasn't a nice person - after all, everyday I had to put up with hungover GI's with dripping junk calling me Pecker Checker - thinking it was funny.
I can certainly understand that - but I wasn't the one mocking you out.
oh-well.
I told him that I had long since resolved the incident and it's now only one of several funny stories from my time in the military.
All's well that End's well - and we both had an internet chuckle over it.

Thank you for your service ...
What did you do?
I was an Aircraft Electrician 423x0 and worked mostly on A-1 Skyraiders and some A-26 Invaders
Got my hands dirty and my knuckles scraped on more than a few occasions.
Here's a pic of an A-1H aptly named 'Magnet ***' because of it's propensity for attracting ground fire (and resulting bullet holes) during close support missions.
Another pic of an A-26A (On-Mark Engineering B-26K conversion).
Lastly - that's me - young and handsome on Christmas Eve 1969 sitting on the rooftop veranda of the Hotel Ubar when I was TDY to Udorn Thailand.

Is this your car spooler? Kind of curious about the ID fuel filter.
