This time I was not dumb enough to get my hopes up. I was mad as hell last Friday, Saturday, and Sunday LOL. Not happening again. Go have a beer, it'll be alright. Drink one for me while you are at it. Maybe JarBlue can drink for the both of us. LOL

Dyno time and tuning is probably not gonna happen this week and will get pushed to next week Thursday/Friday time frame. I have 3 cars in front of me that need complete tunes. They have a couple of things to finish up on before it can hit the dyno. So, don't expect any numbers this week.

Carl only works on Thursday and Friday now ... he get's backlogged easy.

Yeap, I had my voodoo doll out this morning putting the hex on the other cars.
Got one out the way due to not being ready. LOL

Everything is ready to go for tuning next Thursday/Friday. Still a couple of things to do but they won't affect not being able to tune the car.

Yup... Its hard to go fast at 7000ft Density Altitude... You should come try it some time ;)

I have been thinking about what I am going to do with the car. I need a challenge. So, I have heard this statement several times. "The 370z does everything well but is a master of none". I plan to change that. The challenge. Might as well set the bar high.

1.) Run a 9.xx second 1/4 mile pass. Current record, Justin with CJ Motorsports 9.91 @ 142mph.
2.) Do several track days with the car.
3.) Run 170mph at a 1/2 mile event. Current record, Dynosty @ 164.17
4.) Roll race the car at TX2K.

That aught to do for a list of challenges.

Any restriction for this build? Like remaining in street trim? Stock 6 speed?

And what’s the significance of tx2k?

Car will remain in street trim but switching Wheels and tires are a go. Will stay with the stock 6 speed. The 1/2 mile speed will be tough. I will need to add a rollbar down the road with a race seat and 5 point harness. I have to wear a HANS device for safety.

TX2K, bucket list item. Do it because I can. LOL

I’d like to be able to join you & don’t forget the “Texas-Mile”
Unsure if any Z’s have recorded a 1 mile run there?
I’m hoping by this time next year,I’ll have something to bring along as well :ugh2:

I think we should throw a really big boosted VQ party at a destination in the middle of the country 🎉
