I could possibly use that, or the Z1 solution of a pump on the other side, or a surge tank like Solidus did with twin pumps in it.

I have a sneaking suspicion Charles is working on an external surge , but it's a simple solution. I have a single 340 in tank mounted in the old CJM twin pump bracket. That feeds twin 450s in the Radium surge tank. I have purposely tried to sling the car hard and the surge setup takes it like a champ. Before I got cutout at half tank running hydramats on both fuel pumps. The top hat from the twin pump setup made it a cakewalk routing to the surge tank and the return. And oddly there's no ruckus in the cabin with the twin 450s in the hatch.

He’s got boxes & boxes of miscellaneous parts; including another new e85 pump

Are you currently using Hydramat on the twin pumps?

Doesn’t prevent fuel strave

Get a surge tank. WHats right hand fuel starvation, I’ve never experienced that before

Your probably have a high frequency hearing lost, having trouble understanding clarity of speech. Auditory deprivation is something that goes unnoticed until it’s too late.

Spooler 09-15-2019 02:17 PM

I dropped Phunk a DM on Instagram. I'll see what he says. Not too worried about it at the moment. I can keep it above half a tank.

You got to go through a long sweeping right hand turn. Try that and tell me how it does.

Suppose to prevent fuel starve from fuel sloshing. Evidently it doesn't work.

I may go this route because I don't want fuel inside my car in a surge tank.

Spooler 09-16-2019 12:54 AM

Well, I just got out from under my car. The front splitter has a big rash mark underneath. It appears it hit the road after the bridge. I also found that both passenger side shocks are blown. Joby, do you really only way 275lb. You have got to weight a good bit more.

I weighed 270# in my underwear & add another 5 for clothes :wtf2:
Remember you had your car corner balanced & weight was over 3700+me=4000
A 2-ton ~Z~ :ugh2:
Might have something to do with traction being pretty good...(until the boost was turned up )

jchammond 09-16-2019 03:32 AM

I told you it would be like riding a “Fat-Girl” around :icon17:

jchammond 09-16-2019 03:49 AM

The blown shocks are helping you with the weight transfer; the only time the nose went up was when the accelerator pedal was down :wtf2:
Remember; you’re a solid 200# yourself :ugh2:

You must of gained 50lbs the way you were eating last week. LMAO. Check the scales again and no cheating.

Spooler 09-16-2019 08:36 AM

Had to fill up with 10 gallons of 93 oct. today. E85 station was out, again. I am not liking 12 psi of boost.

Once you get use to it you need more. I wasn't lying when I said it is an addiction.

And this concludes the entertainment for today. Joby has been duped again. LMAO. My shocks are fine. He is still a heavy weight though.... No hiding it.

Thats some awesome self control. Whatever happens don't get in or near another Z making 50 more rwhp. Boost envy is a powerful thing. Under 500 would feel like a Prius to me right now.
But.....one thing motorcycles taught me is that you will either respect the power or you will be given a quick lesson on why you should respect it.

I definitely noticed a difference between 700 & over 800whp :ugh2:
Couldn’t imagine getting traction in 1st or 2nd gear with either though :wtf2:
As 4th gear was a minimum with 800+whp; even though it only stays there a few seconds & then shifting to 5th
