Car runs like a champ. Went out and had some fun with my best friend from high school today. We both had a blast.

Yesterday was the most fun I have had with my car in quite some time. The last time was after the first build years ago.

I am having a blast with real Rolling Antilag. Let go of that button and she is gone.

Here is a problem I encountered on my first engine build at only 824whp. The engine was 11:1. I also saw the exact same issue on my Mazworx engine when it was being gone through. That engine is 10:1. I went from a .82AR exhaust housing to a 1.06AR exhaust housing and moved my peak TQ up 700rpms to 5800. These pistons and rods have been sitting in that box for a couple of years. It was distinctive when we first pulled the first engine apart.

This video is a better example. This was caused by too much cylinder pressure too low in the rpm range and to add to the issue was coolant in the cylinder due to a blown headgasket. That was not detonation that killed it. It was a problem with the turbo kit itself.

The Fast Intentions kit was designed for a stock block car. I have pushed it way outside of its efficiency zone. It was designed for 750whp. Can you push it and turn it up. Yes, but it is not wise to do so. All of my turbo pipes and the intercooler have been upgraded to improve the efficiency. The Fast Intentions exhaust manifolds and 3in downpipes are still good to go. All of my EGT's stayed in check on all 6 cylinders. We did balance the EGT's on all 6 cylinders. Only #5 and #6 needed additional fuel to balance them out. That is due to the intake manifold design. They were not off by much.

She spun but the next hit was solid.

That’s great to hear man. After all the sh1t you’ve been through to get your car to this point, I hope you’re finally able to take a breath and just enjoy the hell out of it. :driving:

I am having a blast.

Note to myself. Don't try rolling antilag at 38 degrees even after warming the tires for 40 min. driving, I just can't help myself. LOL
