Finally doing the right thing. I have a lot of GTR parts and engine parts. Let me know if you need anything.

I might be designing the motor mount brackets to mount it to the Z subframe with some clearancing of the upper pan that way you can keep the stock oil pan. Hoping to do that in the next few months.

I need a junkyard long block that is good. I am going dry sump to make everything work better. I am done with the VQ.

Why not just put an LSX in it with turbos.

Only losers do LS swaps.

I saw what you went through. LOL, what you did was a bitch to do.

WOW, 1200whp on a VR38 is just a basic build. Piston, Rods, CA625 head studs, and fire rings. Nothing special. Cams and Valve springs if you want to spin it 9000rpms.

husam2012 09-23-2022 12:59 PM

Don't even need fire rings for 1200whp. Keep it simple.. Stock crank with rods and pistons and head studs is good for 1000 ft lbs. Did a few VR38 builds to 1100-1200whp recently.

My Mazworx engine just sold. I have a Fast Intentions new Stage 2 turbo kit is for sale. It is the old stage 2.5 with GT3076 turbos.

Rear wheel drive, I want to keep it down to 850tq.

To be fair... there are a lot of kits out there now that would make everything easy, right down to the wiring.

I want to keep the whacking and modifying down to a minimal. I can do that with the VR38.

If I have to buy a new clutch, I am sure not throwing that money away. I would rather spend it on the DCT trans swap. It will be a little while before I am ready. Getting some of the parts I need are going to take a while.

This is how I feel.

I never give up. That's how I win. I just keep plucking away at it. I think I am on the right track now.
