If you want to know the rule of thumb behind the wastegate spring it is this.
3 port MAC valve: 12psi boost on wastegate spring = Max boost around 24psi. You double it. I was at 70% duty cycle on the MAC valve at 25psi before. 4 port MAC valve: 12psi boost on wastegate spring = LOL, I have no idea. Guess we will find out. Last edited by Spooler; 06-08-2021 at 12:09 PM. |

Well, as most good tuners are, Nick is backed up. My car is not a normal car so I need to grab my can of patience. I am sure he wants to tune it in piece and quite.
This boost junkie needs his fix. |

For many racers the loss of resolution is easily worth the gain in min-max ability of boost . For street driven cars, especially FWD cars, this is a HUGE advantage. These big power street cars, or traction limited FWD cars, can go from being absolutely worthless burn-out machines to somewhat manageable. |

Still waiting on an all day slot for tuning. It may be a little while. 8-10hr tuning job takes some waiting to open up. If someone cancels, it will help. LOL, I beat that won't happen.

Little birdy told me I will be on the dyno this afternoon and finishing up tomorrow sometime. Just maybe, it will happen if Murphy doesn't get me. I have no idea on the numbers. It may be 930whp or it may be 1000whp. Gonna find out what the next bottleneck is. In the realm of the unknown again.
