Sitting here wondering how this new build will feel compared to the last one. I guess I will find out soon enough.

Go ahead and order you a couple pallets of e90, that way you’ll be set for a little while :driving:

:iagree:

Where do you actually order E90? I did a google search, and all I found were drums at truly insane prices. Is there a place where you can actually get this stuff for a reasonable price?

Message sent; as Jay may know of a place near you.
All is made in one facility

It is race ethanol but is much cheaper than race gas. Ignite Red (E90) is $300 for a 55 gallon drum plus shipping. The shipping can hurt. LOL

If you are paying, I will order some more. I have 2- 55 gallon drums and of coarse some was used while tuning the car.

Not a bad price. Only $5.45 a gallon, plus shipping.

Yup, race gas, depending on what you get, was running $11 to $18 dollars a gallon for VP when I was buying it back in the 90's. No idea what it is now.

It was $215 to ship 2- 55 gallon drums to MA and they have a forklift which means it is cheaper. Lift gate truck delivery is more. So, $7.40 a gallon.

I used to pay $360 a barrel and my guy is out of business so the cheapest I can get it is $420 a barrel.

Not too bad considering all you have to deal with if you order it direct. I would pay that IF I could get it local. However, I can not.

LOL, that is from distributor. The only quote he gave me to my residence put it at $600 a barrel. I called several places. The distributor in Las Vegas wanted 500 and another in Lake Havasu City wanted 550 for Ignite e85 not e90. I got the best price from Snail Performance in Phoenix at the $420 price. Torco, which is out of Phoenix makes a similar e90 and also carries Ignite e90 and the price is 420 as well. I will probably run pump e85 but I won't get it from the pump but the transfer station in Las Vegas. It will come e80 + - a couple of percent. It will be clean. I may add some Boostane to it to get the octane level up.

We run Boostane in the Miata. It was 118 whp on 91 and dynoed at 160 on Boostane!

I will daily drive on Pump E85 which is E77 from where I get it. I will limit my boost to 17psi. If I turn it up I will be on Ignite E90. I just need it to be very consistent for that level. E85 detonation may not be detected. I am not taking any chances.
It is more expensive to replace an engine than to nut up and run the good stuff when needed.
