He is too busy. I can't ask him for such as he is slammed with work. It's not fair to his regular customers. I think the tune is spot on for what I wanted.

It does look appealing; you’ll know Performance when you see the Dyno graph
Sometimes it’s hard to beat the oe design :ugh2:

We shall see that soon on Justin's car. He has been waiting on a clutch. Sound Familiar? LOL

I pray my FX850 holds, but the way the trend is going as the builds start finishing.. :crying:

Also there's a guy named Damon (https://www.instagram.com/p/Bw9qXBAHtVi/), who has a car which is a built FI Stage 2 TT 875whp. He got the AAM Intake Manifold and actually lost ~ 40whp and 20wtq so they switched back to the stock waffle.

With the way the R35 manifold falls off a cliff at the top and AAM also losing power.. Seems CJM is only way to go, has anyone ever seen a SOHO result?

One car had the SOHO manifold. It was at 875hp or something MB Nismo. I am fine in the 800hp range I am in. It is a good bit of work to fit the CJ Motorsports intake. We shall see what Justins's car does with it. There is not much difference between 17psi of boost at 716hp to 21psi of boost at 780hp (4th gear). I choose to work on the restriction to decrease boost and increase HP if I go any further.

Yeah man we think very alike.

I did everything I could think of to try to free up the top end; cams, valves, ported vhr stack and tbs. I sure hope the results will be there - more power at less boost that is.

Good luck because I failed. LOL I wanted 780hp to 800hp at 18psi of boost. LOL I have a good idea of what direction I will head in the future if I want to chase it some more. I am just not sure it is worth it cost wise for what I want to do.

I'm sure you'll get it during boost weather don't sweat it too much, at this point focusing on optimizing/longevity is a good thing. That's the problem with 700+ whp VQs that just won't go away - keeping the heads down.

Keeping the heads down is a big concern. MA-Motorsports has had great success with that. I am not sure what their machine shop does to be successful with it. I do have a good idea though.

Think you're at the point where you are starting to chase your tail. To go farther, it's going to cost a lot more. And you realize that.

Yeap, I am at that point. The 800hp point is what I call it. The point where it get's expensive quick if you go past it. I learned a few things along the way and have some theories of my own on how to improve if I wanted to. I am not chasing my tail. I know exactly where I want to go next.

Wow. That's a helluva compliment considering who it comes from plus the fact that he makes an appearance on the forum about once a year  :driving:
