Actually not much further. Maybe 32-34psi should get it to where Justin wants to be. We only stopped today because we reached a ceiling in the engine control system. Now some work-arounds need to be implemented and we are taking care that it’s all done as best as can be. It won’t be long before we give it another go.

LOL, go get that record. Can't wait to see it finished.

That car is just a flat out monster that's still not even awake.

It’s just snoring and we already thought it’s an earthquake lol

Those drag radials are only going to be good for one run after the burn out!

We did quite a bit more on the dyno today. But I’m exhausted so I will put together some stuff to share sometime tomorrow.

jchammond 08-08-2019 04:13 AM

Sounds like you Guy’s are going for 1200whp :eek::eek:

The original goal was 1100whp but the turbos didn’t have that in them. To get any further he will need to upgrade them with a newer compressor. I am not sure if that’s something he will do this year or not. The car made about 1050whp with the GT3076 turbos

soill370z 08-13-2019 02:22 PM

Upgrade to 35's and let er eat! What is that from the record like 17?

If anything he would just have the GTX compressor wheels put on the existing turbos. That should unlock another 150-200+ hp. Right now the turbo response is about equivalent to a stock R35, it would be cool to retain that. I dont think the VQ block would be able to handle the 35s.

I was over 982whp and 800ftlbs back in 2015... I am done with the BS who has more hp.

Congrats to the team making it in the 4 digit club. Excellent work!

I can understand that completely. Glad Justin pushed the envelope. It's just not for me.
