An LSD is a must for a boosted Z. Even with the LSD, full throttle in first and second gear will smoke the rears and in third gear I get wheel spin above 6Krpm. You will also need to replace the stock rear end bushings with polys. They stock ones will come apart.

I'm running Bridgestone RE-11 305 rears which aren't the best for straight line traction but oh boy, they love the curves!

Hey Topz,

What is being done in regards to an install manual? Is there something out now that we can take a look at?

I currently ma running re-11s 285 in the rear. Planning to go to Michelin ps4s next and up to 305 if I boosted. I wanted to do the LSD along with SC install but don't want to do double labor if I have to switch to longer gears than my 4.08s I have now.

I can't comment on 4.08's in an automatic but I've got 4.08's with my manual and stock lsd. I've also got 305 Nitto NT05's. First gear is almost useless. Second thru fourth are great although it'll roast the tires in second gear and light up them up pretty good in third. It's scary without traction control on (and I very rarely use it) as the stock lsd is garbage and when it lights the tires in second, it's a handful. My next upgrade (very soon) is a Quaife lsd, that should straighten things out (literally). And yes, I'm keeping the 4.08's in.

When both tires are spinning, its not going to matter which LSD you have.

I'm not so sure the stock lsd is locking up properly as it really want's to kick the back end out. I haven't checked tire marks to verify if that's the case though.

In my experience, when the back end wants to fishtail while doing a straight forward power pull, that is the sign that both tires are spinning. Otherwise, if the diff opened and only one tire spins, it wont oversteer because the non-powered tire is still maintaining grip.

I know track guys dont care for the stock vlsd... but as far as power-on straight line traction... I have never had the vlsd open up on me and give me a 1 tire fire.

Yeah, you make a lot of sense. Maybe I need to get some more heat in those nt05's before I take the tc control off.

Hey guys!
Finally going to purchase the long-awaited A2A kit from TopgunZ tomorrow!

I'm super stoked about it.

Been waiting to purchase the A2A kit for so long now (ever since I read about it which was ... back in August / September of 2017)!!

Long wait but I know it will definitely be worth it!

Thanks Topz in advance!!!

So me being super excited about the kit and now that it can include the Tial upgrades for super cool sound, I decided to look up on YouTube to see how it sounds!

Check it out guys...this is really cool

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oKAZ4V66BE4

Tell me that sound with the stillen supercharger + Tial upgrade + A2A upgrade isn't cool!

This is the sound it makes anytime the throttle is closed or partially open, Even when just cruising? How do we make sure it doesn’t sound like that all the time?

Good question I don't know xD
I'm assuming only when the supercharger pressurized air is being utilized since it recirculates the air..but then again I don't know.

Good question -- not sure!

The Tial is for more than just sound. It safeguards the system. Think about how much air it is producing at 7500 rpms and then the throttle bodies slam shut but the supercharger is still producing all that air the engine was ingesting...it has to go somewhere. The Tial allows it to escape properly without it surging back into the head unit causing premature bearing wear/failure.

To quiet it down you place a filter on it. There was a recent post and even a link for it in the A2A thread. I had done this to my car way back when I developed the kit and it works pretty good. If you want even quieter then you run a 1.5" hose from the Tial exhaust flange routed to inside the engine bay then place the filter on the end of that. The engine bay does a good job of trapping the sound in instead of purging it out directly off the bumper.

However, I dont think many guys are complaining about the sound and almost all the time guys PM me and tell me they love how this kit made their car sound versus the stillen setup.

I replaced my RHFC’s with res TP’s but even with resonated test pipes, rasp is pretty bad. Might try to weld on resonators everywhere available on my exhaust. The tone of the RHFC’s I thought was perfect but they’re too nice to risk blowing out IMO

Are there any flex fuel kits for our car I should be thinking of utilizing? Gauges? Need recommendations now that I’m about to start hammering down a date for tune do you think I’m capable of install with enough time or go to mechanic? I have time not working right now and the most I’ve done is spark plugs and throttle bodies so haven’t got too deep on the car
