IPP Built Blocks - Who's got one?

Been going through threads and have seen a lot about Import Part Pros built blocks. The general consensus looks to be that Kyle@IPP does great work... so I went ahead and ordered one. Seriously need to work on my impulsiveness, I know :shakes head:

Anyone here on an IPP block? (or know someone who is)

Results? Thoughts? Opinions?

Any info is appreciated.

You chose...wisely.

All joking aside, the ... made this extremely suspenseful. Very glad to hear that & I appreciate the response.

I see you are located in Baltimore, we have done many VQ engines with a pretty solid track record of performing well.

Kyle has a very VERY good reputation and gives excellent customer support.

I wanted a one stop shop to build my engine and tune it so went with Dynosty. But IPP has a great reputation. I wouldn't worry....

I’m a big fan of Dynosty... Would defiantly be over there if I was local.

Sort of wish I was taking the same route you did. My shop here is also fantastic, but this option is saving me a few bucks and a LOT of down time. Fingers crossed everything goes well. Happy to hear more good word about IPP. Thank you for the feedback!

So you bought something and then asked for opinions... makes sense

Hey. :iagree: I intended to make it clear that I understood my ‘impulsivity / whatever you want to call it’ to avoid comments like this. Suppose I could have done a better job.

- Did lots of research and thread searching.
- Liked what I saw.
- Decided to pull the trigger.
- *Later* saw a small bit of worrisome feedback on another forum.
- Wanted to know the370z communities general experience(s) with Kyle and IPP’s built VQ37HR blocks.

Z1 Y-pipe

I hope they hurry up and get you guys stuff done. Mine is "on the list" .Went with Stage 2 longblock with C2 cams and 10:1 compression , full ARP L19 and Cometic head gaskets. Next up CJM twin pump and S1 SE with 1300 injectors. All paired up for a 1.32ar 6466.

I highly recommend Kyle at Imports Parts Pros great customer service, quality products and truly cares about his customers. I had a Imports Parts Pros stage 1 built VQ37HR long block on my last 370Z for natural aspirated high compression since I decided against a stroker kit. IPP stage 1 long block with JE Pistons high compression 11.5:1,Eagle h beam rods, all apr stuff etc. I was pretty hard on that engine street/track and if mine lasted yours will too. If you plan on forced induction go with a stage 2+ built VQ37HR.

I'm eventually going to replace the rods & pistons within the custom built stage 4 IPP block I ordered sometime after the 1 year warranty expires -- with a stroker kit :D
