The CJM twin pump prototype unlocked the extra power necessary to pull it off. That is the one modification that sets this car apart from the typical boosted 370z. How much power? 818whp Dynojet STD at 18.5psi on it’s highest setting.

It helps to have a good tuner such as SpecialtyZ as well. And E85.

It can be installed as a drop-in upgrade for our fuel systems without having to change the plumbing.

Congrats on resetting the record! You guys kept pushing the limits of this platform.. just 2 years ago no one would even think of running 600+ on stock block .. now people are pushing 700+ safely with ease!

Whoaaaaaa...... So Phunk, I was looking at having to remove my old fuel return and upgrade to the new one to run a 450 pump. Are you saying if I wait a minute I can have a drop in solution without having to purchase and re-plumb another return system? Like maybe wait till say.... January/February?

Our older kits didn’t have an external filter, so you would still need to add one of those. Otherwise the twin pump can be run with a single or twin output, allowing it to be used with any fuel line combination. But in your case you would still have to play with the hoses to get an inline filter into the system.

I have the same question, when I ordered my kit I did receive the external filter with my kit that I installed under the frame rail cover and you helped me initially during my order to find a way to install my EC-2 flex fuel sensor over the fuel hat with provided fittings about a year and a half ago I guess before the "E" kit was a thing?

How easy would it be for me to do the new hat, new twin pump, and rails? And would this be sufficient for big built motor power in the future or would I need larger lines and other things than that which came in my s1(.e?) kit?

Thanks Charles,

Thanks Charles,
If you have the external filter than you already have the S1.E kit... as far as our fuel system acronyms go, the E means external filter and that is how we distinguished it from the previous S1 kits.

You wouldnt use our billet hat with our twin pump, it would be one or the other since the billet hat is for the stock fuel pump housing and the twin pump has its own hat as part of its design.

The twin new pump can be configured to use a single -6 output, and factory style QD return... which means it can be used as a drop in replacement for the stock fuel pump module so long as the car has an external filter already, as the twin pump does not have room for an integrated filter.

Adding the rails would mean switching from your S1.E to our S1.SE kit. This entail purchasing the rails, the rail crossover hose, and the rail to regulator hose. The rest of the S1.E on your car would remain in place as they are the same parts.

Charles,

My setup is close to Justin minus the twin pumps and I believe he has bigger than my 1150cc injectors? Does he daily his car and feel comfortable at this level with regards to reliability? Although hes at 818 did he run this pass at that level?

I personally wouldn't run my car at 800 on the street, but I did run it at 700 all summer. My torque was around 540fllbs. Its winter here so unfortunately my motor wont see 800 any more and I plan on building my motor over the winter.

I will also say I have between 20-35 runs at 750whp with no problems. Car was still trapping 142 at that power

With yours and other people slightly lower daily numbers, I think I am going to get a couple hundred cc bigger injectors, the twin pump setup and maybe push for 700/550 on E85. The last dyno run I did for seb to get the ecutek controlling my boost solenoid was 620/550 at 14psi on my high setting. I dont want to go crazy on this stock bottom end but that would be a nice thing to say im able to change a map and be at 700hp for dyno outings and the occasional Mexico trips.

Side note, the RE-11 305's aren't cutting it at the 620/550... whats the next step for daily tires with some rain ability? Or am I in the brake change and tire change column if I want to use this power now?

Thanks Justin and congrats man!!

Lol, I have basically the same numbers and tune from Seb, 610/560. At that power level no summer tire is going to do any better, no even ps4s's which would be the only other street tire I would buy. If you are going to run at 600 plus whp, you got learn how to contol your right foot and make sure you got heat in your tires before ripping out on the hard top.
