What going on guys, sorry it has taken me a while to post on the forums again but i have just been so busy with school and work i havent had the time. Ive been enjoying the hell out of my car cold weather has made the drive 10x better. The car has been running great thanks to a great install. I accidently didnt realign my car after the engine was dropped back in so i needed to replace the tires and im waiting on seats, Pioneer Double Din in-dash kit, brembo big brake kit, and my LSD to come in. ill be posting some pictures as soon as everything else is installed.

I think the biggest concern I'm having with twin turbo installs is the oil temperature. I'm confident that the turbo bearings themselves have little to no impact on oil temperatures, but I'm curious as to how fast oil temperatures increase when under boost. Any sort of information you can give in terms of street driving and/or track use would be greatly appreciated.

I believe the key to keeping oil temps in check with FI (if you track your car or drive it HARD) is to increase the volume. An oil pan spacer along with a quality aftermarket oil cooler kit should be enough to reduce oil temps significantly.

But depending on weather plus how your street driving is will also affect the temp. No oil temp problems for me.

Thanks, 220 is perfect. I was afraid it was going to be cooler. Which you don't want.

You could give the gas a few love taps to take the temp up.

370zTwinTurbo/Black370zTT, please give some info on your experiences thus far. Positives/negatives. Is wheel spin a huge concern? Did you hafta re learn how to drive the car? Can the chassis/suspension handle the extra power? Sorry, I just have so many questions I don't know where to start.

Positives-Very fast ,Easier to drive

Negatives-Weather sucks, but there are no negatives for me, I do not know about the other owners.

With the new clutch anf flywheel, I believe its easier to drive then it was stock. At least now I can hear the exhaust and engine which helps I think with shifting. I think just knowing that you have an extra 200whp at your feet is a positive. The chassis seems to handle it fine so far, haven't really punched it yet, but I'm sure it can.

I don't think you would have a problem on the street. How long can one leave it on boost in a daily driver?

The track is a whole different story. An oil cooler would be the way to go.

I figured that the cooler outside temps would make it a blast to drive. I am curious as to how your oil temps will look in July/August. I believe that will be the real test. I will definitely stay tuned to this thread for updates.

With an oil pan spacer and an oil cooler there really shouldn't be an issue. Especially for a DD
