If I got the hammer down the oil temps go up but when the cooler air is steady on it the temps will drop well under that spec temperature. Which I believe is 180 degrees F. But don’t quote me on that just yet.

As long as you stay above 160 you are good to go. A sandwich will help to a degree. I run without one!
