Never seen their kit, do you have any links to the components or a build they have done?

Anyone Running royalty performance turbo kit?
Just a pm from the owner, saying it’ll be a top mount kit, using Garrett gtx3584rs turbo, it’ll include a cjm stage 2 fuel return kit. Basically able to blow up stock block price point is looking like 10gs. And that they are just in the process of finishing jigs for a production run

He actually made “can blow up your engine” a selling point? Hmmm. In that case the Stillen SC kit should be selling like hot cakes. The truth is any forced induction kit can easily blow up your engine. Not sure why you’d want to mention this as a feature of your kit. Weird!

No Im just saying that he said it comes with a return kit that can give u enough fuel to blow it up.
Apparently there is a couple people (probably friends of the owner) running their kit, and have good results. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Ghost116; 10-23-2017 at 09:27 PM. |

“Enough fuel to blow it up”? Blowing up usually comes from. not enough fuel. Anyway, I know what you mean. It just sounds like his choice of words are rubbing me the wrong way. No biggie. Either way, we get more choices. Glad to see more options. If nothing else maybe it’ll keep the current guys/kits on their toes. Competition is good.

Be like the honda ricer idiots. Put the biggest turbo on. Run it until it blows up. Then steal another honda. Remove turbo kit from first car and put it on the stolen honda. and repeat.

Looks interesting, the last top mount "kit" put down some good numbers but there were other issues around that "kit."
I would wait until some numbers are released, my advice for the owner (or someone at the shop) is make an account here and post up a detailed thread for everyone to see. For turbos there are a few options but more is better and he might get some more customers by posting here.

Buddy..............please quit saying "Blow it up." When you say that (and I'm not picking on you.) it becomes apparent that you have little to no knowledge of boost or even tuning. Stick to intakes and exhaust for a bit longer and brush up on what boost actually entails before you move up. Failing to do so generally costs more than a turbo kit itself.

Anyone Running royalty performance turbo kit?
By low it up I mean push it hard enough to start breaking parts. While I’m no guru with boost, I’m have a fairly good knowledge of what I’m getting into (ideally a bp kit with a cjm fuel return). And have done countless days worth of reading and talking to people as well as worked on many boosted engines for race and street applications (never a vq yet though lol)
Lol rusty man I totally agree, especially with heat soak being the issue it is on this chassis, I don’t see it making the same numbers/curve as other kits. But according to the builder and a couple guys already running it they’ve taken some steps to help. Don’t know wat said steps are (guessing a blanket for the turbo and the gold heat wrap on the intake tubing). It’ll be interesting to see when it goes into production Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Ghost116; 10-25-2017 at 08:00 PM. |

Anyone Running royalty performance turbo kit?
I think there is a huge misrepresentation of what I wrote lol. I’m saying that the kit can make enough power to break/bend parts (rods, bearings, seals etc) because of hp and torque numbers not because of lack of fueling which seems to be the first issue the vq runs into when getting up over 500whp. It isn’t advertised as that by the company/owner as being able to blow your car up it’s so powerful, Re reading my post I can see how it came across that way, I should edit it!
My bad don’t think less of this kit (hasn’t been openly tested to know good or bad) because of my poor wording! And I know about burning yourself worst is when it’s just because u can, my first one was oh have boost let’s see how far it’ll go. Luckily it was a Honda lol had a rod come say hi . Dime a dozen was up and running at a reasonable number for 400$ lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by Ghost116; 10-26-2017 at 09:03 PM. |
