i wish i could get a fly1 motorsport out here in Korea but the shipping is way to much for a entire kit that I want...came out to be like 5k just in shipping...

What transmission parts are you planning to go with...you should def be getting that soon as well

sounds like you got a nice setup going...plan to do anything with the suspension and brakes?

Shipping is always a pain, I found a company called carbonsignal who make quality work and great fitment but just for their shipping, it's $450, basically the cost of the fenders I want. Located In united Arab emirates.

LevelTen will rebuilt the entire transmission because it is an automatic. basically all the components that is required.

I do plan on putting coilovers, new sway bar/links and but I have not decided on what company to work with. In addition, I'm looking to braum seats.

A few other odds and ends to look into:
Boost and AFR gauge
It'll never be easier to install motor mounts than while the engine is out
LSD if you don't have the sport package (and it's a solid upgrade even if you do)
Camber arms and toe bolts
Better brakes if you don't already have the Akebonos

As far as the gauges go, I'm looking into Defi. Boost, air flow, oil temp. they will be replacing the stock gauges.

I will look into motor mounts, thanks for that. though I do have Akebono kit

Camber arms and toe bolts will be part of the order of coilovers. I have not decided what I want yet

There is so much that is happening, I have not taken the time to put it down because I feel like it's not appropriate to just talk about it rather get it, install it, then talk about it

Don't take out the three gauges in the dash if you're using Ecutek. You need the OEM oil temp gauge, and it's all one unit.

Why do say you "need" the OEM oil temp gauge with ecutek? Removing the gauge would only affect you from using the gauge hijack feature.

Exactly. Isn't it a pain in the *** adjusting the things that would use the gauge hijack when you don't have the gauge?

I'm not 100% on this, but I think the things that are adjusted through oil temp hijack can also be adjusted using the bluetooth module.

That being said, I left my triple gauge in so I wouldn't chance losing any features.

i thought gauge hijack just showed what the parameter were set to ie. max timing, afr, ethanol content. i didn't know you could actually adjust parameters this way. IMO i would still remove the OEM gauges and replace them with defi if your going FI. they provide more function over oem and look badass!

this is a lot of good info, I will talk to my guys Martin and Hal at Dynosty and figure out what's best. I do like Defi products though, they look great!

I agree i would not take this feature out as well...honestly one its a big pain in the *** to take out anyways and two i love the valet mode of the ecutek and im pretty sure it wont work unless you use your stock gauge..atleast i have not been able to find any installs with aftermarket gague to support this...i like having the ease when I do transport the Z that no matter what they will never be able to boost and go over 45 MPH
