Update:
new trans installed from level 10, capable of holding 1000 HP. received AAM twin turbo kit, pending install from Dynosty. debating about motor rebuild or just install it for now. it is more cost effective to do both but I don't want to put myself in a financial corner. |

Nice congrats man! A little overkill on the trans lol but I did the same thing basically...on your motor rebuild...well I just pulled the trigger on the stage 2 short block...after I installed my AAM TT kit I felt the stock block wasn’t giving the respect that kit deserved...I’m going to give it about 700whp Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

I'm debating this and I have a place in mind but want to keep my options opened |

hey bud. 1. I purchased my aam tt kit 3 years ago. Kit was installed and tuned by aam 2. I didnt drive it much put 4k miles on it over 3 year. It was a weekend car. 3. I drove it spiritly when i had it out. I never launched it or dragged it. 4. Only problem i had was the fuel line off the walbaro pump inside the tank popped off. I just pulled the pump and resecured the line. 5. I added the fuel return system and a custom 3 inch exhaust. 6. I had 32k miles when it was installed 8.i went with the spec twin disc and zspeed csc. I regret going with the spec clutch. Would not shift crisply at high rpms. After driving for a bit it improved but was not 100%. I would recommend the os giken twin disk. 9. Only regret was the spec twin disk 10. I loved my kit. Boost came in really fast. Full boost under 3k rpms. 11. My block held up with no issues. 12. Car made 540whp and 424tq at 9psi on 93oct 13. Innovate motorsports afr and prosport boost. 14. Cant post price of build as it was part of r&d special. 1 of the first 5 cars to get the kit after r&d was completed. |
Thanks Rob! this is good for people, I came to my decision and will post soon

Update:
Turbo's are finally installed. Dyno begins 01/29/2018 |
great news! the motor held up but I don't have a final word until tomorrow. I will be picking the car up from Dynosty and plan to write a full review!
P.s number are way better than expected on the 2nd pull! |
Update:
After the install at Dynosty with TT kit, I made well over 570 WHP and 426+ TQ. I drove the car back for 7 hours back to Michigan and did some 4th gear pulls. Now mind you that it's still winter so I cannot punch it to the floor. the car handled great expect a little noise coming from the bay which sounds like a lose screw or squeaking sound. I spoke with the guys there and asked me to make a video and send it to pin point the problem. Might not even be a problem (no it's not happening when building boost or after turbos stop) the trans feels very firm and shift good, the shifting (in sport mode) was firm because it's about 33% higher of how it's suppose to shift from OEM. Level 10 asked if I want to increase for harder shift (45% over OEM) but cannot give my 2 cents until weather warms up and take it on the drag strip and track. It will take me a minute until I write a full review of my build |

You can't isolate these OEM gauges. For the sake of cost and convenience you can mount 2 aftermarket gauges in the cubby panel or the A pillar. You really don't need any more than 2 since, in reality, you won't be looking at them much anyway. Jason Gale (PHUNK) on this forum offers custom units to accommodate the mod. His work is exemplary and he is EZ to communicate with. |
