Kyle, will there be an all inclusive kit that has everything I'll need, plus the warranty. Or will it come with everything, except the tune?

Josh@STILLEN 01-10-2010 08:25 PM

Either.. there will be two pre-packaged kits including a tune. One CARB legal kit, another not street legal competition kit with higher boost, and one with everything you need to build and tune yourself, for whatever your HP goals..

NewYorkJon34 01-10-2010 08:57 PM

Josh, maybe you can tell me what kit would be best, I don't take my car to the track, I want a real reliable kit & I'm looking for about 450-500hp/350tq (estamite), and that's priced reasonably.

Probably not the CARB legal kit.

As we get closer to release, we'll have some additional information that will aid in your determination for the kit you're looking for.

You can keep track of the STILLEN blog for updates: 370Z / G37 Supercharger System Progress: R&D : STILLEN

And I'm sure information will be posted on the forums as well..

Will the supercharger have self contained oil cooling?

I ask this, because I had a Vortech long ago and I had to tap the oil pan and run a line to the supercharger. :driving:

Yes, we are using one of the new Vortech blowers with the self-contained oiling system.

Good to hear. Sounds like a V-3.

hey im highly considering ur supercharge it sounds amazing a couple of concerns i have thought are has this supercharger been tested in hight temperature, because im from the middle east and as u knw it could get reaaly hot there seeing that the 370z allready has oil coller problems, and will it affect if u stop in traffic in hight temperaturs, sry 4 these questions but im kinda new with these sort of things :P and another concern of mine is can i use my car for daily driving without facing any problems?

All great questions!

We have not yet finalized the testing of the supercharger but I can assure you that high temperature climate testing is on the testing list. As well as, high altitude, low altitude, cold climate, wet weather, and we also really want to get it to the race track and watch the oil temps on the track.

You got more going for you than GTM at this point! I think yall really have made your focus on sc rather than turbo compared to GTM.

jmlenz 01-13-2010 04:56 PM

^^^ none of this matters until we see price points and dyno graphs from GTM and Stillen

Actually it does matter, because dynos and prices are not everything.
