A lot of the common downsides of a centrifugal can be overcome with good engineering and testing.
Basically, centrifugal superchargers are well known for having less bottom end power than a roots blower. However, this can be overcome by trimming the wheels and making enough changes to make sure that you have good boost on the bottom end. It takes a lot of time and development but it can and will be done. |
