Supercharger pulley/shaft "issues"

Have to ship to Quebec but at least it's not cross-border And turnaround is 2-3 days instead of 2-3 weeks plus international shipping time

Better than sending it in internationally.

Hopefully, with the high cost of exchange, custom fees, more and more Canadian shops open up and provide parts and service for a made and serviced in Canada option.

Buying anything in the USA and shipping to Canada is almost 40% increase in price for exchange rate, fees and shipping. It's getting to the point of not being worth it.

Yeah that's the biggest savings, both in terms of cost, hassle and turnaround time.

He told me this morning he is backed up about two weeks though so not as good as I'd originally hoped but looking outside right now I can't imagine it mattering one bit.

[QUOTE=ChaseZ;3625311]So was checking we'll more or less everything in that area. Found the belt slipped a rib on the jackshaft pulley.

I'd very much like to know how the belt "slipped a rib"! How is that possible as it concerns me?

The movement of the SC pulley away from the blower put it out of line with the jackshaft pulley and I guess that 'guided' the belt over to essentially straighten itself (the belt) from lateral tension.

This was also at low rpm idling in my garage.
