The flutter means the air is not coming out of the supercharger properly. The noise you hear is the piston in the bpv opening and closing. It is very hard on the valve since instead of it just closing on throttle then opening when off throttle once, it is doing that like a 1000 times more. You will eventually wear your valve out.

Also, the air needs to get out of the system or it tries to push itself back through the supercharger blades, basically trying to force it to slow down but it cant since it is belt driven so it causes unwanted stress on the bearings.
Sounds like I will need the Tial. What parts do I need to be able to install the Tial on your kit Topgunz? I searched through your thread and while I found pictures I don't know what the parts are of the sleeves and the metal Tee pipe that the Tial BOV attaches to. Do I get the 38mm or 50mm Tial?

I've tried 4 different BOV's on my GTM supercharged setup. Turbosmart was the worst for fluttering., Then tried Synapse Diverter valve. I finally found a Tial QRJ that does not flutter, but was loud as I did not circulate it after upgrading my S.C. to Stage 1.5.
My remedy has been to attach a K& N filter on the BOV output flange and wrap that filter with some 1/2 foam. That really quieted things down.
I'd recommend a maintenance / cleaning -lubricating about as often as changing the oil .Or even more frequently. They do stick and using the turbomsart lube does a nice job also..

I just got done with all this BPV flutter Bullsh*t. What a PITA. The valve still flutters but not under boost. Usually only if I'm cruising about 2K rpm or so and just back off the throttle a bit and it'll flutter. But when I'm romping on it there's no flutter at all, sounds like it should. But any flutter to me sound like crap.

So let me get this straight....you can replace a BPV with a BOV when SC'd ? I've heard two different stories on this.

Take a look at the Tial QRJ , You would have to have the valve flange cut off and the new flange welded back on. Not that big of a deal. The qrj can be recirculated or vent to atmosphere. Only valve that I've used ( and I've tried a shitload of different valves) that does not flutter!!!!
BTW.. I " aquired" that pulley.. lol

Are you talking about the extra pulley to get rid of belt slip?
