Oil Viscosity for TT

Last thing I want to do is start an oil war but am curious as to what oil viscosity has been recommended to others for TT motors. I was told to use 0W/40 Mobil 1 Synth. Or is there really no difference between NA vs TT concerning engine oil weight?

That's too thin for my tastes. My tuner had me bump up the cold viscosity over the stock spec.

If I were to TT my Z, I would use 0-40 as well. I know it's not a fair comparison, but I used oil with the same viscosity in my 300ZX Turbo and never had any issues. The bottom line is, you want the oil, at it's thinnest, to be able to circulate through the motor when it's cold, and still be thick enough to lubricate the engine internals when it's running hot.

0-40 mobil 1 euro blend here. 2 years and no issues yet, minus a bit of oil consumption

Rotella T6 5w40 for me. Recommended to me by JTRAN and many members here.

Rotella T6 for me as I have run this oil for years in my bike and cars!:driving:

I have run Mobile 1 0-40 and I am now running Liqui Molly 0-40. Both were recommended by my tuner.
