Congrats on the BP build. You put down some very impressive numbers, you may have even surpassed the stock block world record. :happydance:
|
Congrats....and you guys are nuts. Those are some ridiculous numbers for such low boost, despite using ethanol fuel.
|
Yes. Those are super ##. I'm tuned on 93 and put down 50x hp/43x TQ spooling 12#.

Awesome build, and thanks for the mention! Great looking powerband there.

Big Thank You to Forum Member jwick "John" who helped me decided on this kit and helped me along the way!:tiphat:
Props to Boosted Performance & CJ Motorsports for your awesome customer support and making great products for our Z platform!:bowrofl: This has allowed me to feel confident when pushing my stock block Z. My 2016 Z now has over 3,000 miles on her since the BP Kit & CJM Fuel Return System was installed. This Recipe has totally transformed the car and making it so much more fun to drive.:driving: http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...126_164603.jpg http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...o/IMG_2115.jpg http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...218_164018.jpg http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...121_214021.jpg |

How was your experience tuning with JMS? I'm local and can't decide between a dyno tune with them (more expensive and no cord included) or with a remote tune from Specialty for fewer $$ and a cord included.
Those numbers are insane. I can't imagine it's easy to keep that car pointed straight! |

The biggest Plus for you is he is local meaning right in your backyard and trust me he knows our platform very well! Specialty Z is very famous for our platform as well, but local versus remote tune I choose local dyno tune any day especially when dealing with a reputable tuner right in your backyard.:tiphat: Tell him Glenn from good old Katy, TX sent you! :rofl2: |

Hey nice build, just curious, how did you mount the tablet? Velcro? Or something a bit stronger?
|

The K00L thing is there's a hinge built into the tablet that allows me to slide it behind the cubby hole opening door to the Z storage bin.;) |
what made you decide to go to JMS vs jtran?

I felt very comfortable putting my new Z in his hands, and as you can see I ended up with awesome results!:tiphat: |

Any internals upgraded?
Awesome build on a stock block, congrats! Any internals done or was the engine never cracked open?

One might call me crazy, I purchased my Z brand new a year ago. Put 4,000 miles on her allowing everything to settle in, then had the BP Kit installed. My Z now has a little over 3,000 miles on her since the installed. This BP Kit has completely changed my Z's character inside and out!:driving: |

Nice build.. it's really good to see the potential Sasha's kit can throw down. You guys and your sea-level e85 power make me sick jealous! Keep those runs coming and the GoPro on, can't get enough of these videos while I'm working on getting mine on the road! |
Just a quick update, normally we see post when problems arise but in this case my Z is running flawlessly! The tune is spot-on with no Gremlins. She took down a 680 whp Mustang the other night with no problems running @12 PSI utilizing a e70 blend.:driving:

Had a few tee issues with the oil pressure sensor leaking, so decided to clean things up with the CJ Motorsports Oil Rail.
Thanks Charles, for making such great products for our platform! :tiphat: http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...1_165403_1.jpg http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...121_181539.jpg http://i1225.photobucket.com/albums/...1_181532_1.jpg |

Just got through running a tank of premium fuel @ 8psi for the week. Switched back over to e85 tonight and let me tell you what a world of difference it is running at 12psi on corn. Rolling into boost in 3rd gear at 50 mph and the tires are just breaking loose! FUN FUN FUN!:driving:
