Wondering about cost of this plus a hood...

I spoke with bobby tonight... it looks like they are also going to tackle our cooling system issues. During the initial concept designs they found some reasons why people are experiencing overheating issues. I won't go into details but let's just say that it's pretty ingenious and will help a lot of the track guys. Also stage one will be under $10k out the door. They have mentioned they are going to make a cooling system upgrade kit for resale as well.
Good news indeed! I will keep you guys updated on any new info! |

Thanks Bullitt!
As of right now we are still in the design phase. We have two cars we will be doing for Zdayz. One as a demo car and the other a client car. The client is bringing us a stock motor Stillen kitted car. We will be doing a direct back to back comparison before pulling his car down. We already have his new built motor nearly done and we are just waiting on cams. Once we are done with the back to back (apples to apples) comparison his car will go under the knife with a new fuel system featuring our new surge tank capable of handling well into the quadruple digits power levels. The client is getting what we consider our stage 2 kit with all the supporting mods. This will be what most of you with low compression built motors can expect to achieve. We wont speculate on numbers but if this blower has anything to offer its massive amounts of power. Also of note this will be through a 7AT transmission. Our demo car will be built along side the clients car and the plan is to have both of them be displayed at Zdayz 2017. The demo car will be our stage one kit on a stock block. when we do the comparison on the clients car we will be doing same psi as the stillen kit. so for all intents and purpose once we have results you will see our stage 1 versus the best stillen has to offer. As of right now we want to limit TQ to 400ftlbs but may raise that based on how the clients transmission holds up. since he is trading it in as a core for his new level10 bulletproof transmission we may push it more. This will all be seen the day of testing. So stay tuned! We hope to have both cars by early January and begin the process. |

After further discussions with level ten we will be capping the TQ on the 7at transmission at 400ftlbs as that is where they have seen the most failures in gears 5,6 and 7 on the 7at. If we decide to go past that we will do pulls in 4th gear on both kits on the 7at. So please be aware if you see comparisons in 4th gear it is solely to ensure the transmission doesnt go out when we are pushing it this hard.
We will be partnering with Level ten to provide transmission upgrades for the 7at. Note each transmission is VIN locked. If you want to bulletproof your transmission at this time your transmission has to be sent in for a full upgrade. No core swaps will be available at this time. |
Nice to know Level 10 will be working with you guys. I've been eyeing the FI myself, but it's awesome to see some more work being poured into the Z.

So you are limiting to 400 ftlb torque on a stock 7AT, and then you may increase the torque after it has been built by level 10, is that correct? Just interested because I have been talking with Level 10 recently aswell. But since I am in Australia I cannot send my trans over to them and back, otherwise I could just buy a GTR in shipping costs lol. But they have offered me a rebuild kit, hopefully that is all I need to be able to handle the extra torque from FI. |
I think what they are saying is that they are only testing the stage 1 kit to 400ftlbs on the stock transmission to start and may start to push once they have a back to back against a full stolen setup

Very exited to see what happens with this kit. Always been more interested in a supercharger over a turbo, reliability and ease of install mostly I guess; but having not heard good things about reliability with the Stillen system, I never pulled the trigger on it. For me personally, simplicity of install is very important, and for my tastes, I would only be after a (fairly) conservative level of about 500whp, so I'm really interested in the stage 1 kit. Keep up the good work!

The guys at RJ MFG are working over the holidays to make this kit. I have already seen some cad models they are using and it looks promising. They are moving and changing the coolant tubes and lines that are external of the motor. It looks like the install is getting more in depth. Individuals and shops will be upgrading the coolant system to support NA to forced induction applications. This is a huge plus but at the cost of install difficulty for the avg diy guy. RJ MFG is working to make the kit installable without dropping the motor.
