Harrop makes some good stuff sadly we can't invert the blower setup like the flat 4. Since we have a 60* motor space is extremely limited and after working with Bobby on some design ideas omg I am excited! There is a lot of new technology going into this kit. They have truly taken to heart the idea of making an innovative kit! The intercooler setup itself is insane using some great technology from mocal. Everything is being looked at from serviceability to performance! We are in for a major treat! I want to buy another Z just to build one of these myself!!!

Great the more I read this thread the more I want to wait for this kit. Oh BTW, RJM not sure if you answered this already but will you make a RHD compatible kit.
If you have a definite answer on that I will wait for this kit! :) |

Roots or twin screw blower all the way. A2W IC with a nice big pump and double pass HE -- A2A is never going to cool as well as water, unless you are just doing constant laps.
I take it this would have a clutch style engagement set by TPS or would a bypass work with our TB's? Either way, anyone enticed by the top end of a centrifugal blower or a turbo, keep in mind, if you want near instant pin-you-to-your-seat torque, you either need a bigger engine, properly sized twin turbo (will still lag), or a cut your hood Max Max style PD SC. Are there any hoods out there with a bulge for a SC that would work? The 350Z hood for the Stillen SC maybe? |
We won't go into water vs air being better, but any and all pd blowers have to be water.
|
Guys no need for that here. RJ MFG is doing A2W with either a double or triple pass heat exchanger.

3.7+2.3=6.0

Everyone crying about having an exposed blower or different hood for their Z :bowrofl:. Last time I checked Z owners have two vehicles but maybe that's just me. The woooshh of a turbo can only be bested by the hellacious whine of kenne bell blower IMO!! RJM keep on doing innovative things!!! Props!!!

I love the hood on the new 2017 zl1 camaro..i think something like that in full carbon would look really good

I would want reliability foremost.
I am going to have this car for a long time and I don't want it spending most of it's time in a shop. This fear of breakdowns is the only thing keeping me from messing around with my engine. That, and money. :icon17: |

I don't mind this one either. I think I photo shopped that on a 370 for someone once. http://i397.photobucket.com/albums/p...1.jpg~original |
