RJM just got the new Whipple AX175 V3 in for final testing. The new unit is much more efficient and they will be trying new pulleys. Once this is complete the final parts list will be compiled, pricing set and numbers released for both Power and pricing.

A pre-order will be set as well once the numbers have been finalized. RJM has gone through several small revisions on the kit and havent publicized them as they are working to make this kit reliable, meets expectations, easy to install and budget friendly.

The kit will come with a Tune for both Ecutek and Uprev. It will be a tune that you can run on 91 or 93 octane. It will be set for 500+whp out of the box. The goal is to maintain a 4 hour install time with hand tools in a garage with the car on the ground.

Do they have a website that we will be able to pre-order from...?
Any idea if this is going to be CARB legal or nah?

Since it's so close to being done I'm wondering if I should still go through with the 928 motorsports upgrade or not on the current V3 SCi head unit T_T
I'm having a mobile mechanic come today to isolate the blower from the engine bay and bracket so I could send it in to 928 for the upgrade lol.

Either way, I will definitely pre order this whipple xD I think the v7 head unit idea I had a while ago is out the window for now :D

they are currently upgrading their website but its: rjmusa.com

As for CARB legal. Yes they will be persuing CARB status for the kit. This was one of the hurdles they were facing and changes being made to accomodate. they will release non CARB first and then CARB version after independent CARB testing and approval.

I would say 10-10.5k give or take. They are still finalizing certain parts and negotiating with suppliers. The best part about this kit is that its designed to be scaled for Big power without changing a ton of parts.

Is that including the required hood? If not, cost on that plus paint?

I am doing the hood stuff independently and I am highly considering a bolt on hood cowl that has hidden hardware. It will be much cheaper and would allow people to put it on any stock profile hood of their choice.

So we are talking TT pricing. I realize this can be installed with out pulling the motor suppost to be able to be done in ones garage, but still!

What you get:

Fully CNC Parts *Not CAST*
Fuel System (injectors and pumps)
Supercharger able to scale to 1000hp+
Intercooler and heat exchanger able to support 1000hp+
Waterpump that will support 1000hp+ and last longer than 100k miles
All high end components and parts
And a tune!

With $10.5k TT kit you get a base kit with no fuel and no tune and no additional options.Plus you have 20 to 40+ hours of install time at $100+ an hour. and not capable of hitting 1000hp+.

Big talk. When we see this kit reach 1000whp from people not affliated with RJm and yourself then it’s legit, until then it’s all just paper weight. Good luck with this unit, I’m excited to see the fruits of you guy’s labor.

cupcakez 04-05-2018 04:57 PM

lol. those parts are rated to 1000+ but is that in WHP or crank HP terms :o
