RJ MFG Supercharger kit Feeler...

So realistically, we're talking 3" above the OEM hood line? Maybe a bit less? (where'd I put that playdough?)

I am thinking 2" - 3" above the hood in the center. But remember the factory hood drops ~1" around the center so a power dome would be at most 2" taller than a factory hood peak height. Again this is all dependent on pulley size.

Keep forgetting that pulley...ok thank you very much for the info. Appreciated.

They don't make OEM hoods like they used to...unfortunately. It would be nice just to add/retrofit the current hood like guys used to be able to do years ago when hoods were basically just a formed flat sheet of steel. Now, with all the framing on the underside to give it rigidity, there just isn't a good way to cut a hole and add something on top.

I agree with a couple of the comments above -- the hood will make or break the project with the majority of possible enthusiasts. "It's gotta look like it's meant to be there" -- perfect comment.

I like the style of the 350Z HR with the way it had the rise maybe something like that will be possible! Either way can't wait for it to be released definitely going this route when it becomes available, I've been following RJM for several years and all their products have been pretty much game changer's IMPO ! So to say that a hood would make or break the deal for others I suppose I could see that but I'd bet my lunchbox that whatever they come up with will be top shelf !!!!

LOL

First I read...

No way... I could do better than that.

But I think cooltoy meant it as he wrote it...

(there's) No way I could do better than that.

I like this a lot...I agree with the above statement about the bulge being so big and continuing to the front bumper. I think the bulge should be as small as what is necessary to cover the blower and of course in full carbon

I'd love to modify my VIS hood with this supercharger.

What are people's thoughts on a ZL1 style hood?
