Is it possible for the strut bar that RJM designed be modified to fit with the the supercharger? Wishful thinking

If someone purchases one of these supercharger kits what kind of after purchase customer service can they expect ?

Also will this be sold as a ready to ship install yourself kind of deal or will the install have to be done by RJM?

It's going to be sold as ready to install. I pitched the DIY aspect to RJ MFG and they agreed.

You get the same support as with any of their products. I know they are very communicative and work with customers all over the world. I have gotten great support throughout my experiences and I know many others have as well. Nomodsjk is working with them on a full build maybe he can chime in.

I have constant access to bobby at all times and he replies to my texts usually within a few minutes unless he's working obviously but he always responds quickly. So far I've had a fully built motor using a bryant racing stroker kit, every suspension mod available and of course im waiting for my 2.9 liter whipple supercharger kit to be completed. Im very excited to see the outcome as im sure others are as well. Definitely looking forward to seeing the dyno results!

Cool. I just want to be sure everyone holds Bobby accountable for that. There seems to be a lot of people interested in this, including me for my track Z project. But let's not just sip the koolaid.

Speaking from personal experience, Bobby's past customer service was the opposite of timely and honest, nothing personal just facts. Hope to see that has changed.

Before anyone tries to argue against that, save it. There's no argument to make, just stick to good customer service. Excited for some dyno results.

He brought new people on to help with that. I know they have answered questions into the late evening and over the weekend.

So if they have abondoned the laminova style cooling system that was supposed to cool massive power, then what do they estimate this to cool with the "slimline" internal manifold cooler? Please dont let this become a hairdryer at high rpms again!!

We have partnered with Bell intercoolers and the intercooler being used is conservatively rated at over 1000whp. Bell intercoolers are not cheap and have the highest reputation in the industry for performance and efficiency. They have worked closely with us to develop the cooling for our kit and their level of expertise is second to none. Rest assured the cooling capabilities are being over built to support whatever you can throw at this supercharger kit.

I don't care about the cost as long as it does what it needs to do..the last thing i think anyone (especially me) would want is to spend a good chunk going f.i. and have to worry about overheating because you're trying to save a few bucks on an innercooler...

Forgive my ignorance here, but with regards to this Intercooler setup, can you shed any more light on this? Never really dealt in any way with Screw/Whipple type Superchargers. I saw the renders a few pages back but still little lost.

I see you guys incorporate the IC right below the Supercharger itself, will this design be a W2A setup? Can't imagine how else it would work otherwise. And if so, having a hard time accepting it'll cope given how bloody hot these VQ37's run. And if a W2A setup, how big will the Heat Exchanger be?

How much heat do these type of Superchargers generate into the charged air, a lot or little? ...relatively to say a Centrifigual SC or Turbo I guess. Also will you provide any way to be able to meter boost and IATs after IC?

Sorry for all the questions... just very curious and trying to wrap my brain around it all.

Wow lots of questions here. I think some of these have already been answered in the thread. But I will try to answer them as best I can:

1. This is a water to air setup.
2. The intercooler itself is designed and capable of cooling a whipple 2.9L safely beyond 1000whp. The RJ MFG guys have been in talks with bell for a while on this.
3.the heat exchanger will be appropriately sized I am guessing to support the higher hp numbers. They have talked about double and even triple pass systems along with using a high pressure pump. All good signs that the system will get plenty of cold water.
4. I do know one of the reasons for going with the whipple unit is because of its efficiency and cooler operating temperatures. Runs cooler than centrifugal superchargers and turbos as well as more efficient. They looked at multiple brands but the whipple unit kept being the desired unit.
5. As with any twin screw setup there will be ports for measuring IAT. The renders they have shared do not show the whole kit in its finalized form. I can see several items they have left out and I know they are working on.

You sir, I owe a cold one.

I'm just little shy about W2A after experiences with the Stillen SC kit being my first and most likely the last.
