I was going to buy a fire sleeve for the vacuum lines but I don't think 500* of protection will help with direct contact on the turbo manifold.
I ran my 350Z (same kit configuration as VHR), ran all the hoses upwards from the wastegates. Never had any issues at all, as everything was a fair distance from any hot surface. Nothing was ever heat wrapped.

I'll have a few heat shields in stock in a couple of weeks.

I was using some DEI heat sheaths for the vacuum lines. I should have wrapped or ceramic coated the turbo manifold. I even bought the heat wrap but I never got around to doing it. Big mistake.

I moved my transmission harness as far away as I could from the manifold. What kind of symtpoms were you showing before and when it failed? My brake light comes on under acceleration and a couple times my traction control light and yaw sensor light came on. Everyone seems to think it's low brake fluid but that's not the case. I think it may be the heat being generated by the turbo and it's proximity to the harness line. Did you have any of these issues when your harness failed?

My harness was my fault. The instructions tell you to raise it up , I just did'nt raise it far enough. First a few lights came on then everything on the dash quit working and it shut down. When faced with a new harness cost I just spliced the wires.

Well I guess if anyone else is having the same problem I was having... Even if you're brake fluid is between the min and Max, the brake light will come on. I went ahead and topped it off to the max line and what do ya know.. No more brake light! Learn from my stupidity

Been there .. when u floor it the fluid in little reservoir gets all over the place from the g force and the level sensor will read low .. ur brake light will flash .. do it few times and ur abs shuts off and ur vdc wont work as well. Since then I always keep a bottle of motul 660 in the car just in case i need to top it off.

Installing the kit now. Just ran into the Coupler issue for discharge pipes from IC. I'll have to source some 3 to 2.5" tomorrow locally myself. Not worth shipping international for 2 Couplers.

Oddly enough, there is zero mention of any of the discharge pipe work from IC to TB in the manual either.

So my car is the one Sasa posted a link to. Very happy with it and work RT did. Its on 10lbs, ark grip exhaust, and unfortunately had to get high flow cats fabricated due to NJ emissions. I am having an issue with the trans harness though. One burnt already and I think the new one may have as well ( not my fault ).

Heat wrap it. Use the heat sleeve Madwi posted.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll be more than happy to cover the cost of replacement couplers.

The harness needs to be tucked upwards. It is very easy to do, the manual covers it well, and hardware is included.
