When I first heard about Boosted Performance, I had some serious doubts. I mean, I couldn't find a website, save for a Facebook page, and I just didn't get a good feel for it all, especially considering it's what people would call a "cheaply" priced kit. Didn't know anything about the builder, the company, the history, the experience, etc.
But then I did some digging... Realized the owner/manufacturer lives in my city... And I've seen his builds on some other forums in the past. He literally produces some of the nicest welding and craftsmanship I've ever come across, and his piping always seemed so well thought out. I saw some pics he showed of some of the jigs he'd create, to be able to fabricate the same parts, in the same fitment, time after time. I was super impressed. Many years before I even had a Z, I would think to myself "I'd love to have a car turbo'd by Sasha!" Every time I looked at one of his many threads. And now that I know he's the guy behind Boosted Performance, I just want to throw my car and all my monies at him. I was seriously researching the AAM TT kit, and now I've been convinced to go another route altogether. I'm hoping Santa will make me a very happy person next xmas Last edited by Nithmo; 12-03-2016 at 06:37 PM. |

Any chance of getting pics of the intercooler? Curious about the fitment of it, behind the bumper. I didn't see anything about the front tow hook being relocated, so I assume the intercooler doesn't impact it? If that is the case, I assume it is smaller than some other kits and I wonder if it is sufficient to get the job done. Can anyone comment?

That's good to know. Out of curiousity, how much of risk is it to not have the front crash bar in place? I assume the intercooler would become the first point of impact then.. is there anything else to really worry about, beyond that?

The biggest problem is not having a place to put the tow hook.

I have a question for and BP turbo owners or BP account.
For manual Zs! What would be your recommended clutch setup? Nothing overkill but can handle the turbo power boost and doesn't just kill the wallet? Thanks guys? |

I liked the Stage III daily so much on customers 370z's, I ordered one for my own 350z. It drives like stock, and holds up the power just fine. He can also customize things as well, based on your power goals.

Thanks for the help man! Plan on putting a down payment on the kit maybe the beginning of next year so I'm trying to get the prices for all the supporting mods I'll need!

Just to give a bit of an update....
I am shipping 6 kits out next week. Two additional orders came in the last 10 days, and those will more than likely ship out some time in the second half of January. This goes for any additional orders that come in before the year is over. I have a nice family vacation the last 10 days of December and first week few days of January. So I will do my absolute best to get as much out to you guys as possible. Thank you all for the continuing business and support. It is greatly appreciated.
