Just to provide some more on the heat treatment on everything.
My 350z has this identical kit...going on 3 years. I do not have any heat shielding on anything. If the vacuum hoses are ran as per manual, everything goes upwards, and away from the heat. Same goes for all other components... if they are tucked away as per instructions, you should not have issues. I also do not have a turbo blanket, no issues at all for some time now. Now, is it a good preventative measure...absolutely, it does not hurt to have, but it is not a MUST I hope that provides some clarity. I have had customers choose to ceramic coat everything as well, it is completely up to you. I also have heat wrap and turbo blankets in stock for those that choose to go with the heat wrapping of everything.

I don't know anyone running a catch can on a BP kit. A bunch of us V1.0 guys had this discussion a few years back. I don't recall anyone coming up with an actual solution. |

Here's a pic of my engine bay with the admin tuning dual catch can/coolant reservoir. I ran my lines along side the engine towards the pcv valves. My engine bay doesn't look different than a boosted engine bay. My intake piping is 3 inch in size as well.
