Sticky tires for FI
Anyone recommend a good sticky set of tires for boosted Z's? I am running Hancook Ventus V12 now but are pretty much worthless as they spin through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd. I have Nismo and don't want to change tire size.

Just put RE -11'S on Thursday...305 and 265. They are pretty damn good. Nothing is going to hold first and second.

Everyone on this forum is going to tell you re-11 or pilot sports since everyone on the forum is reading and jumping on the same reviews, neither of which is a bad tire but If you're making decent power the 555r or nto5r as stated before are great for strait line power. I also like the toyo r888 but they do need a decent amount of heat to really stick

I guess the difference is if you have a toy car that only comes out to beat on or a car that sees some daily driving.

Those tires are great but you will only 5 to 6k on the street. You will get 10 plus with RE -11'S. If you got the cash then r888's are awesome.

Oh and the Toyo's and Nitto's will cost you more for not much gained as a dd. It just depends on how much you want to shell out and how much performance you want knowing they are all the same from a stop.

I have came to find out its really outside temp dependant. In Denver you can't beat r888s from April to September. They, as well as mt street comp, suck in below 60* weather.

I'm running re71s right now. They are amazing. Tremendous grip very pricey but worth it. I'm n/a right now and waiting for the rest of my boosted performance kit to show up to see how they hold up. If they do well I'd gladly pay for them again without hesitation. I've driven on them in 40 degree weather and the grip still is there and have not had any issues.
