Thanks for the link Bolio. Looks like he picked up about 4hp and is less affected by heatsoak. I wonder if the heatsoak is worse when the hood is closed

Thanks for the link Bolio. Looks like he picked up about 4hp and is less affected by heatsoak. I wonder if the heatsoak is worse when the hood is closed off dyno. I would think so.

I would think so also Tops.....I know the numbers are not as impressive as what u were able to achieve with the A2A.......but that was almost 2 years ago.....when A2A was just a thought......I know that with Stillen's small heat exchanger I experienced serious heat soak during 3 back to back pulls on the dyno....the heat soak costed me 13HP between the 1st and the 3rd pulls and that was with the hood open and the fans on, having climate temps at 90*F.....so the Frozenboost seems to have a great improvement over the Stillen one....
This experience has me agreeing with ANMVQ's past posts on this item, I think that the Frozenboost is a far better option than the one Stillen gives with their kit and should be the one that comes out of the box with the Stillen kit since they want to remain A2W cooled.....especially for guys like Swiss who can't do an A2A......but for those who can... A2A would definitely be the way to go...... Tops...didn't u get ur Frozenboost Heat exchanger from Z&I? Did u ever get a chance to use it?

I wasn't aware of the testing. Glad there is some data to support that mod. Looks like if your stuck staying w2a, mostly for carb approval, then it is well worth it.
I never even installed any of the water to air stuff. I bought the kit for the purpose to make it air to air. So yes I have that forzenboost H.E sitting in my garage. But it is the taller, lighter one, type 100. Do you have the type 101 or 118?

I ordered the 101 based on all the thread posts about it.....By the time u posted up the 100/118 types as options my H.E. had already been shipped out from Frozenboost. Props to the folks there....they shipped out the same day I ordered....one of the quickest turn around times I've experienced.

UPDATE:
I have had the car back for a few months with no issues so far. I have Frozenboost ready to be installed but don't know how to install it. The car has been running a lot better since they changed out the tune. Can someone link me a diy for the heat exchanger install? I also have an oil cooler so I wanna make sure I do it properly.
