Emailed Seb. regarding a possible tune and about the pullley swap topic -- whether or not he thinks its worth it or not.

Doesnt the 928 place offer an option in which they send you the ceramic bearing parts / impeller and you can have a professional install it into the blower as well?

Or am I tripping and I am making up that option? lol

If so, I may ask them to send it for the cheaper price and then have a local shop install it who specializes in aftermarket parts as well (assuming they say they can do it after I call & ask)

I had the 2.85" pulley but returned it after research to find out the 3" would better suit my end goals.

Seb was great at answering all my questions (even some dumb ones). The pulleys are definitely worth it, it's just a matter of how much boost you can safely run with the fuel you'll be using. That's where Seb comes in.

You can definitely just purchase the parts from 928 and if I remember right they have a list of recommended installers on their site.

If I do another pulley upgrade I'll probably do the 3" instead of the 2.85 too.

You are right. I wasn't seeing things then. I went to check again on the website and it was definitely an option to do so. A standard or premium? package for half the price. And you dont have to worry about them taking forever to send it back either.
I also would assume any aftermarket automechanical shop could do the install for less than 600 to 700 lol seeing as the blower is small, not extremely complicated, and the kit comes with 6 small pieces.

Im wondering maybe since my motor is not going to be stock anymore, I could possibly run a 2.85" pulley safely with Sebz tune?

I also had a question:
Is Sebz tuning like $950 for each time you want your car tuned, or do you pay for a set of tunes that you can use throughout a certain time period...or none of the above?

I'm not sure what the difference is between standard and premium package? I'm also wondering if Specialty Z could do the bearing and impeller install.

Yup. I asked Seb just not too long ago.

SpecialtyZ, at least Seb has not swapped out bearings on a supercharger yet, but said the wheel is very easy and straight forward to swap out.

My builds currently at the shop being sorted, long story short took to a mates workshop who ****** the install of the wiring of the fuel pump stuff, so it's having to be re-done/fixed up...

I've got 9lb pulley, Si trim upgrade, S1.SE fuel system with 340 pump and 1050idx injectors, topgunz A2A kit etc.. will be running on E85 only.

Guessing this will give around 500rwhp here in Aus, our dyno's always seem to run low, what is the next step that will put the fuel system to 90% or so? Is there some other pulleys I can change to take advantage of more boost?

This is what I will be doing for optimal boost gains!

BUT AFTER...I get the A2A kit installed, Super Vortech Impeller Upgrade from 928 motorsports, and when my engine is finished being installed. Although I plan to swap out the 3.0 for a 2.85 possibly -- because I will have a much stronger engine But will need to do more research on that first.

Enter the dyno with 460whp in 93 Ron and left with 533whp on 93 Ron + meth.

This numbers were on Dyno hot as hell. It was over 45 degrees Celsius and the car was hitting only 11 psi and on the street it hits 14 psi. So this 533whp will be much more on the street.

93 Ron is for you to know that kind of fuel I have here. It's the same 93 Ron they use in the USA. Then they have e85 which is the best fuel to use in my opinion. I will try it some day
