Is there any weight reduction with the FI crash bar over the OEM?

Well, even if you take off the OEM crash bar you still have one. An intercooler is solid as hell. It's a boxed aluminum piece with internal supports. It's just an extremely expensive crash bar that would cripple the car if it got holed.

So I am coming to this thread late, but it seems like this A2A solution fixes the problem with the Stillen SC kit being really iffy beyond 8psi? With this, the Stillen SC kit can run much higher than the kind lame 400/300 it used to do and make that power in a reliable and safe way? Are there any other supporting mods needed other than this? How much time would this add to a new Stillen SC kit install job?

Also, is there any way at all to buy parts of the kit form Stillen to save money instead of their entire kit?

1) Yes
2) Yes
3) Needed, no. Desired, probably
4) I can tell you in a couple weeks as I am doing an initial install with Topgunz kit as well as some other supporting mods
5) Not that I'm aware of. Just keep your eyes open for a used kit. I picked mine up for $4k

If you are interested in this, begin by setting the time aside to read this thread in its entirety. Trust me, it's worth it.

Seb, the guy who has tuned about 20 of these kits, will know.

Is it bad to have 4.08 gears with forced induction? just curious.

Seb will definitely say to go TT, but that will cost way more with the increased labor costs, extra upgrades, and transmission upgrade. I will just ask him if this A2A kit will make the Stillen SC kit a reliable car that can make good whp. With the more linear power delivery of SC, I won't need to upgrade my transmission. The 4.08 gears may have to go, but I would see how it is with them first. They would definitely need to go with TT though. If I decide to go this route, I will probably look for a used Stillen kit which is more likely to be found than a used FI TT kit. I think SCs generally have less maintenance and upkeep than TTs. I also kind of liek the idea of the power having a linear NA type of delivery.

Definitely will. He didn't hesitate after he made his first tune and assessment of this kit with StillenZ84....

On a side note, Seb finally finished off my tune...so took the Z to the track over the weekend and let me just say that I am all smiles here man. This kit is definitely track proven...and if it can withstand the local heat and humidity here on Guam it will definitely run cooler anywhere else in the world....

With the Stillen Kit I would encounter heat soak at the drag strip and could never accomplish consistent back to back times....Now with TopGunz's A2A Kit all my times are quicker and consistent....I just need to work on my 60 foot. Trap speed is there and higher within the 111-114mph range which should get me into the low 12's high 11's here once I nail the 60ft.

I am getting closer to bringing my own supercharger kit to the market if you want to wait. 500whp/400wtq for under $6500 tuner and $7500 turn key is the plan. I'm 99% sure I'll hit it.

I'll offer the first 5 kits at $500 off.

These kits will include a V3 blower with Si trim.

That setup is capable of over 600whp if done right, which will also happen.
