Also, what's the holdup on the S1 fuel return kit? I'm the other G37 coupe trying to get all of this done right the first time. Luckily there is an e85 pump near my house, so that's a plus, but, realistically, what am I to gain from e85 over 93 pump? I will be getting the V3 with 9lb pulley, ID100, and 340lph. Just want to make sure the extra needed for e85 is worth it... |

I talked to him about this last night. He sent me some pics of how they cut into the y pipe where it fits up to the intercooler and they already had it cut and rewelded to accommodate the fact they had the brackets on wrong prior to putting the brackets on right.
SO.... We still do not know 100% if the kit will fit perfectly up with a G. However, I really think it will.

there shouldn't be anything different, the install instructions are the same.
the only thing that is different is the front rad support, you might need to cut more away, but otherwise there shouldn't be any issues. The g37 engine bay does seem a little bit narrower, but we know they use the same intake pipe from stillen kit on the g37/370z

Yeah there's no 100% way of what happened unfortunately. Here's how it went down.
1. Installed FMIC brackets upside-down. 2. Shop decided to cut/weld an extension on the bottom of the Y-pipe to get it to fit. 3. Informed the shop that the FMIC brackets are upside-down. 4. Shop flipped ONLY the passenger side bracket - Not sure if they really did anything (Doesn't really matter at this point because the Y-pipe was altered). 5. One pipe now won't align with the throttle body. 6. Welded an extension on that pipe in order to fit. My shop works on a LOT of 370z's and they told me that the G37 has less room in the front. Not sure if this is true, but we won't really know until the next guy tries. I went to the shop and took a look at the front and I really don't see a crazy difference, then again I'm no expert. I honestly feel like it will fit with either much less fabrication or without any at all. I intend on going E85 next month. I highly suggest it as it makes a world of difference in terms of power. |

Hey Topz.... Are your kits in yet? I'm just waiting on EVOHUNTERS results as I am on the stock Stillen Pump and Injectors with a 9lb pulley...If the Stillen fuel set up won't work I will have to factor upgrading the fuel system which isn't a big priority for me since on Guam they only sale 91 at the pump. I have no access to E85 and honestly dont think that will ever be an option here. I have a tune for race fuel but I only pour that into the tank when I'm gonna hit the track.....other than that she's always drinking 91.

I'm on the 9lb Pulley. ...Stillen asked me to run this as I was only hitting 7.0-7.5 psi on their stock pulley....they were thinking that it was due to either my TP'S ( their theory if back pressure with the stock cats) or my climate/location.....With the 9lb pulley I'm hitting a max of 8.3psi @7300rpm. I know that when StillenZ34 started his tuning session he was running lean due to the increase of air from the A2A set up but he has an upgraded fuel system. ...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Stillen supplied pump and Injectors that originally came with the kit will be suffice for now...especially considering my limitations of fuel grades here.

Yeah I'm only seeing 5 psi with the stock pulley, air to air, and test pipes.

Well here it is. Its the best one my wife could take. The roads we were on weren't the best. You can see at 10psi the intake temps are 98degrees. About 20* increase from idle.

He's on Guam. He should be about 2" above sea level.

If you do a Google search you will find that there are a few of them:
Ethanol stations near NYC: I've been checking some of them out. The one in Spring Valley is pretty good - all the street racers go there. The [Power Gas] one in East Orange charges $4.99 a gallon... There are others. I did this search based on my home location in Northern NJ [Excluding private stations] A.
