Can't thunk of anything else that's gonna effect the Idle. Smoker shows no leaks and as per the code it's thrown there's three reasons this would occurr.

1) Vaccum Leak (ruled out through smoker test)

2) PCV- which no longer is an issue with this kit as it is replaced with the he breather filter that comes with Topz Kit

3) Throttle Chambers.

Just to make sure went ahead and placed the Stillen BPV on....Idle was still the same....1000 RPM or so....Did Idle Relearn via EcuTek and got "Test Failed Unable to complete." But noticed that the Idle dropped.down to 800-850....still a little high as the Nissan states Idle should be 750rpm give or take 50rpm...

Drove the car around til got temps up to opersting then did ECU reset before Idle Learning again. Got same message "Test Failed Idle Relearn Unsuccessful." RPM we back up to 1000-1100 RPM then P0507 code "Idle Air Control System RPM Higher than Expected."
This might be, and probably is, just my ignorance but the A/A kit uses a BOV near the intercooler does it not? Wouldn't it make more sense just to delete the Stillen BPV altogether? I'm probably missing something imperative to the answer here.

Is it maybe worth flashing the ECU with a back to stock tune from Seb then re-flashing with your current tune afterwards? Kind of like getting the microsoft blue screen of death. Just thinking out loud about the "test unable to complete" perhaps there is a software related reason for it. Probably not but sometimes it's worth trying one thing to rule it out.

If used with the a2a the BPV works the same way, it's just not adjustable. Setting the tune back to stock will not help anything. If Seb can't get it right there is something wrong on the car.

I'm a bit unclear here. So he's using the Stillen BPV instead of an aftermarket BOV? I was under the impression all that BPV and related plumbing was turfed in the A/A setup..

Mine not tops kit but it's a2a and running the Stillen BPV. Sebs email to me today about the last log was "Wow, that looks great!", it works fine as long has you are under 11 psi.

Both are nothing more than a valve that closes under pressure from a vacuum line and opens when the pressure goes away.

Hmm I might have to hook that up temporarily. I need to get a charge pipe setup for a baseline tune just to drive the car over to the shop and get the new pipe made, and that will be easier than welding in (and wasting) a BOV flange.

I barely used any of the Stillen pieces, so you just have the BPV mounted to the flange on the underside of the Stillen charge pipe a foot away from the blower and connected it to vacuum. I'm assuming it can just be left vented to atmosphere instead of recirc - I wouldn't be able to anyhow as I don't have that 4way silicone boot hooked up Stillen provides.

OK....Idk Wth is going on....Lol...but warmed up car this morning to move her out of the garage and Idle is back to normal. I'm wondering if it's a harness issue. I will double check the harnesses as I recall some peopleh having issues with the Stillen Harness cables.

How long have you let it idle? Mine idles high for a few minutes until it warms up.

Apparently Ecutek have made changes to the firmware since he last tunned my car so he's waiting for somthing from them
He's one of the UK main gtr turners so don't do the 370z platform regular
Hoping to get tune sorted asap

My first tuner was big into GTRs also and didn't know Zs, apparently they have nothing in common! He never had it close to the way Seb has it running.

Pardon my ignorance I see you guys talk a lot about Seb

I'm guessing he works alone ?
Has a shop ?

I've noticed you all use him and rate him highly

Til operating temps are reached......Cold start will always have a higher idle...Glad to report that after 2 days idle is back to normal.....Idk what happened...it appears to be a fluke that worked itself out...Double checked all the harnesses/cables..did a wiggle test and everything seems good. May have been the BPV...not sure as I still have the Stillen on
I will be trimming and putting the Turbosmart back.on...this is a personal preference as I don't care for the quality of the Stillen one. Once that's done I can get back to my tuning session with Seb .

Thank for all the input and help guys.
