Crap where'd you get this impeller from? I have a low mid range impeller from SCR that I haven't put in yet.

mines from SCR too. its really a different car then before, its more usable on the street, and the power comes on way sooner. i was just hoping for better numbers uptop but oh well!

What pulley setup you running and what do you top out on boost?

stock jack, stock serp side, 2.90" charger.
9.2 psi at 5950.. dropped to 8.3 at 7500.

We thought boost leak maybe, belt slippage maybe, but nope.

I talked with the owner of SCR, and he said thats exactly how it should perform. hes seen it before, he said it would be better on a mustang with a lower red line.

Yes. I cant take a picture with couplers on but you can see how that tube goes down from the one throttle body to next

welp i can say, dont buy the low to mid range impeller.
Hits 9 psi at like 5800 rpm, then it starts sliding off. at first we thought belt slip, but not slipping at all.

only hit 427 whp and 368 ftlbs.

I think this impeller would be suited better on a mustang etc.. after about 6000 rpm, the boost starts tapering off. it feels way faster then before, but i think thats cause its boosting sooner.

Oh crap that sounds similar what redondoaveb did. Guess i feel better about getting the high range impeller for mine

Thanks. I thought is May be correct but needed a second opinion because my paint mark came off of one. Thanks again for the help.

So after my car sits for a while, it reaks like fuel. Not sure if it’s the way the supercharger has the evap wired, the return fuel system, PCV delete with all breather filters installed... may even smell in cab while driving but most of the smell is around engine bay.
Post up which of those you have and if you experience the same. Or if you know what it could be.
I’m about to remove EVAP wire from ECU to run ethanol to pin 102, unsure if maybe I need to make sure evap solenoid is closed when i do?

Hey all, this kit looks good. I have a question or two if anyone can assist.

1. If running 485WHP (580 at the crank)on 93 octane. Can the stock 370Z internals cope with this amount of power? Would this last as a reliable daily?

2. This kit bolts up to the existing Stillen super charger correct?

Thanks

I was running stock Stillen kit along with 2.87" serpentine side jackshaft pulley and the car puts down 440whp on a Dynojet. I have all the A2A goodies installed and am awaiting tuning. Prior to the A2A conversion I have already riden my SCed Z for almost 7000-mile DD. I enjoyed every day with it. : ) With regards to your questions:
1. Yes. I have witnessed many Zs running over 485whp in stock internals
no issues.
2. Yes but it depends on whether your mechanic is skillful in the Stillen SC kit.
Mine has few minor issues in installation but my mechanic solved them quickly.
I was barely informed of any concern from my mechanic. TopgunZ's kit is a
solid work and worthy investment (maybe because I have done lots of
homework and have everything well prepared based on the discussions
with several forum members before I decided to go this route).
3. Tuning is a dark magic and for me it plays almost most significant role in car
performance. Find a reputed tuner and get a safe and reliable tuning. Don't
try going too far then you will be fine. Please be sure to collect all the supporting mods
in addition to the kit. I am super excited about the upcoming results. :-")

Seems this kit is much more reliable than stock stillen kit even pushing bigger numbers. Since our Subie is out for a month+ on hail repair this is serving as a daily. I trusted it enough to drive up a 14,000’ mountain for a big car meet now wanna take it on a 1000+ mile road trip. I’m still on pump tune about to start ethanol. I have top end billet impeller car pulls so hard after 6k rpms i must not be having belt slip issues

Have you checked the hoses running to your fuel pump top hat?
I had forgotten to transfer a clip on one of mine which allowed it to leak fuel.

I verified by starting the car up with the cover behind the seats open so I could see the fuel lines.

I'd thrown away my broken top hat that had the OEM clip and ordered a 3/8" clip from Dorman, part number 800-006, to replace.
