I'm just waiting on EVOHUNTERS results as I am on the stock Stillen Pump and Injectors with a 9lb pulley...If the Stillen fuel set up won't work I will have to factor upgrading the fuel system which isn't a big priority for me since on Guam they only sale 91 at the pump. I have no access to E85 and honestly dont think that will ever be an option here. I have a tune for race fuel but I only pour that into the tank when I'm gonna hit the track.....other than that she's always drinking 91.

If you running the stock pulley setup on your blower youll be fine.

Im a running a 2.75 on blower instead of 3.20", We arnt even sure what kind of boost we will see with it yet.

BOLIO 671 05-14-2016 08:41 PM

I'm on the 9lb Pulley. ...Stillen asked me to run this as I was only hitting 7.0-7.5 psi on their stock pulley....they were thinking that it was due to either my TP'S ( their theory if back pressure with the stock cats) or my climate/location.....With the 9lb pulley I'm hitting a max of 8.3psi @7300rpm. I know that when StillenZ34 started his tuning session he was running lean due to the increase of air from the A2A set up but he has an upgraded fuel system. ...I'm keeping my fingers crossed that the Stillen supplied pump and Injectors that originally came with the kit will be suffice for now...especially considering my limitations of fuel grades here.

Pauly Z 05-14-2016 09:25 PM

Yeah I'm only seeing 5 psi with the stock pulley, air to air, and test pipes.

Yeah there's no 100% way of what happened unfortunately. Here's how it went down.

1. Installed FMIC brackets upside-down.
2. Shop decided to cut/weld an extension on the bottom of the Y-pipe to get it to fit.
3. Informed the shop that the FMIC brackets are upside-down.
4. Shop flipped ONLY the passenger side bracket - Not sure if they really did anything (Doesn't really matter at this point because the Y-pipe was altered).
5. One pipe now won't align with the throttle body.
6. Welded an extension on that pipe in order to fit.

My shop works on a LOT of 370z's and they told me that the G37 has less room in the front. Not sure if this is true, but we won't really know until the next guy tries. I went to the shop and took a look at the front and I really don't see a crazy difference, then again I'm no expert. I honestly feel like it will fit with either much less fabrication or without any at all.

I intend on going E85 next month. I highly suggest it as it makes a world of difference in terms of power.

Where are you getting e85 from in nyc ?

TopgunZ 05-15-2016 12:41 PM

Well here it is. Its the best one my wife could take. The roads we were on weren't the best.

You can see at 10psi the intake temps are 98degrees. About 20* increase from idle.

If you do a Google search you will find that there are a few of them:
Ethanol stations near NYC:
I've been checking some of them out.
The one in Spring Valley is pretty good - all the street racers go there.
The [Power Gas] one in East Orange charges $4.99 a gallon...
There are others. I did this search based on my home location in Northern NJ

I'll mostly be using 93 honestly. I'm out in Jersey and Long Island a lot, so there's plenty E85 there.

Update: I'm currently running logs for Sebastian, so he can road tune me today. I didn't really want to, but I've driven the car like a baby for 50 miles or so on the base tune he gave me. Nowhere near being able to go WOT, but I'm getting anxious.

zmanelite 05-16-2016 08:58 AM

My car is at Sebastian's shop right now getting this and ECUTEK done

Is very excite ! :happydance:

Sorry for the hijack guys, carry on

Ha ha well next time I see him , I probably won't be at his shop or talk to him till around the 28th or later

During the week I'm super busy with work and this weekend I have a race and will be gone all weekend

milkcow500 05-16-2016 06:05 PM

Damn that's not help lol. I've been driving for a few days on a base map he made me. You know how hard it is to keep it under 3k rpms for so long?

BOLIO 671 05-16-2016 10:17 PM

Is there anyone else besides EVOHUNTER that is using the out of the box Stillen Fuel Pump and Injectors with this kit?

milkcow500 05-17-2016 12:20 AM

Damn, I just got my updated flash from Seb. I just moved my car too... Looks like my idling needs a bit work.

Try the idle relearn. Mine goes wacky sometimes after a couple reflashes.

Yeah, you need to make sure you always reset the ecu after each reflashing to avoid it acting wierd.

Whoops, I probably should have been a bit more specific. That is what Sebastian told me after reading the first logs. He gave me my first updated map and I flashed it today and it feels really good so far. I'm going to run a few logs right now and hope we can do WOT soon.

TopgunZ 05-17-2016 11:32 AM

Isn't it hard to stay out of boost?!! No, its torture. Been there man. Resist the temptation.

This is my favorite.......

Question what does you KR look like> Ignition correction?

TBatt 05-17-2016 03:05 PM

Okay, say the stars are aligned and I get around 450whp on my SC A2A setup. What 0-60 mph time could I expect? I know that getting power to the ground is always critical with acceleration. I'll be running the Quaife diff along with 305 RE-11 tires.

Guesses are welcome too.

My Supra buddy says that I should be able to get 600cc sport bike type performance (0-60 in low 3 second area) which would be awesome.

TopgunZ 05-17-2016 03:11 PM

You will kill 600cc bikes all day. Maybe not from zero but from a roll they wont have a chance.

Congrats on your successful A2A conversion !!! Getting these cars to hook is the next big project.
Low 3 sec 0-60 is lofty goal to shoot for - and an admirable accomplishment for sure.
I don't think you will be able to do it on street tires and stock Traction Control.
Not sure what suspension trickery might be needed as well.
Keep us posted in your quest ... Is there anyone who has a thread on this?

TopgunZ 05-17-2016 03:30 PM

I did it with my twin charged 350z making 440whp on G-force KDW 2's. From a rolling start i took him then he pulled beside me and in 3rd i ran him again and he fell behind. 600cc bikes can not hang. But this was at 6000ft elevation so i had the turbo on my side vs. his NA.

EVOHUNTER 05-17-2016 03:45 PM

yah topz is right, from a roll you will kill a 600cc all day, I was actually walking my buddys gsxr 750 a few years ago on the Air to water.

jwick 05-17-2016 04:17 PM

All true. Until you experience 500whp, you have no idea.

ANMVQ 05-18-2016 08:11 AM

Agree with the 600CC bike stories, I walked a 750CC on a HYW pull when I had my SC coupe. He pulled next to me when we got off and was like WTH , Then he saw the gauges down by the shifter, LOL

Sweet!

Most of the 600cc sport bikes are in the low to mid 3 second 0-60 (depending on the rider of course). My Suzuki 650 I had was rated at 3.2 second 0-60. Having a car with that level of performance will be killer!

TopgunZ, hurry up and get me my kit!!! This is torture! Really, I don't have time right now to install it but the weekend of June 11th is the install date.

Jason from GYW just informed me that my wheels will be delayed until the end of June. Those poor S04 stock tires are going to be severely punished!

YzGyz 05-18-2016 09:03 AM

SO4 don't really hold boost that great. They hook pretty good in 3rd even if you slam it but they are poop in 1 and 2. I really like them for the $. I would buy them again.

My buddy's 650whp Supra is down right scary! He has a big single turbo and a modified GM 400 tranny. It is LOUD and very fast! He is running street drag radials and can smoke them in every gear. It is like being transported by a warp drive machine!

I call it STUPID FAST!......he agrees

You get traction in 3rd? If it's bellow 75 deg I'll break third gear too.
