Hmm. I may go ahead and switch to 10:1. My issue is that we don't have e85 very close to me. The nearest is about a 45 min drive from me. So I'll mostly be using pump gas (93).

I would love to have e85 within 45 minutes of my house. The closest to me is 110 miles so I got a 55 gallon drum and six 5 gallon gas cans. I make the trip about every other week to three weeks and get fuel. It's an inconvenience but I don't care at all because the payoff is worth it to me. I hate every time I have to use 91 craptane. Granted you get a lot more whp out of 93 than 91 but you will not want to use it again if you go e85. Come on that's like just leaving a 100 whp on the table for no good reason at all other than you scared to get 800whp. :stirthepot:

110 miles. That's dedication to boost right there.
|
Lol well my unofficial goal is 800 on e85 once I get a station closer to me. Until then it's better for me to use 93. I've thought about getting a 55 gallon barrel or two to keep at the house but I don't know the shelf life on e85. That and I don't have a truck to transport it back and forth. I really wish it was more readily available. You are very dedicated sir lol.

I do have a truck but I don't take the drum because it's to heavy to unload full, so that is why I use the 5 gallon cans. The shelf life is actually pretty damn good storing it in the drum, better than month without any noticeable change and as long as it says above e70 you are good to go, hell anything above e50 is still rockin. I can also have it delivered if I choose for about $4 a gallon right now, but it's actually cheaper for me to go get my own with diesel being less than $2 a gallon and besides there always something I need to get in Las Vegas!
And if you flex fuel...well fixed and done! |

Whatever you do I am sure it will be a blast  |
Get the one with wheels and a hand crank pump. Keep that at home and do a barrel in the truck. Just syphon it to the garage one or use a ramp to unload.
But that's still a lot of trouble for something that burns fast. YzGyz |

Well.... I don't really have plans to put 800whp on the ground. That will be more troublesome than I care to deal with. I have no idea why that number is in my head, but that would primarily be for self satisfaction to be a douchebag and say I have 800hp lol. |
Lol.. then you will have to get super wide wheels and rubber, SPL parts and make a decision to go straight or be able to take turns. 600+ rwh is Herculian on the streets or track. 700+ is nothing short of Godlike or full retard. It's your pick

Race logic, fat tires and feathering the gas only go so far. If your motor was fed toast I would tell ya to save your money. |

Anyone want some pistons? I'll let them go for kind of cheap lol.
|
If any of my boosted brothers want my pistons I'm letting them go for $550 shipped.
Small update: I ordered my new pistons. They are JE 10:1's since you can get them off the shelf at 10:1. Also my torque plate will be here Monday. I hope to have the block to the machine shop next week. |
