Nice im currently running the aam kit myself. Made 540whp on 9psi on stock block. Did you get the return fuel system? What clutch are you planning on running? What csc are you going with? I also had them make me a custom exhaust. But mines a custom dual 3 inch.

I have the CJM return already. I also already have the CJM RRP, so I'll do a little more fuel upgrades. Likely run all new fuel lines and do away with the factory lines. I'll have to get with Phunk and pick his brain.

I have an OS Giken twin disk right now. Hopefully that will hold the power. Only one way to find out lol. I have the ZSpeed CSC right now. I might switch over to the Z1 because I'm getting tired of rebuilding my CMC from the fluid draining because I have had to take my transmission out more times that I can remember.

Your exhaust looks awesome man. How does it sound? I can't wait to get my car running again. I have never driven a twin turbo, so I'm really interested to see the difference between a single and twin first hand.

I picked 9:1 because I want to reach 700whp on pump gas (93). E85 isn't exactly readily available here. I really wanted to get 10:1 pistons but was afraid I wouldn't be able to hit my goals with that compression.

Its going to be pretty hard to hit 700whp with that 9:1 compression on pump gas. I think 10:1 compression is the perfect compression for our cars. I have a built shortblock using 9:1 compression on e70 and making 704 whp and 644lbs of torque. Lower compression will let you boost the hell out of your car though. Fuel system is going to be the biggest challenge. Go big on everything bc you will max things out pretty fast.

Once you get completed and tuned post up your results in the finished builds & I can add you to the list.

Hmm. Now you've got me worried about my compression. I feel like I saw someone here on the forums that got 700 on 9:1 on pump gas but I can't remember exactly. I guess I'll figure out. I really preferred 10:1 over 9:1 so I would have more response.

What kit are you running? I plan on going pretty big on the fuel system. I don't intend on cutting any corners. I'm not sure what size injectors I need to run quite yet. I haven't gotten that far in my planning.

I just got a call from AAM and they said my kit should be shipping today or tomorrow. I also had to order a torque plate for machining my block. My machinist doesn't have one so I picked one up. It will be around 3 weeks before I actually get that. So I need to come up with a time table. ZDayZ is coming up quickly lol.

Hjo is running a Fast Intentions kit. I agree I think your gonna have a hard time getting 700whp on pump gas but that would be awesome if you can hit your goal.

This was on e70 around 23 psi. Im running a fast intentions turbo kit. If u can switch up to 10:1 and u shouldnt have an issue reaching your goals. Your build is very similar to mine. Anyhow im subbed. Good luck bro

Hmm. I may have to do some shopping around...

tonyHTX 01-27-2016 01:50 PM

I was too scared to go over 600whp on pump gas because detonation. I went 10:1 compression for response, but I'm guessing if you go 9.5:1 the difference would be negligible and you could boost a bit more.

This is my final E85 21psi tune with ID1000s at 90%+ IDC with CJM Stage 3 RFS (Twin 255 pumps):

I'm probably going to switch out to ID1300s sometime soon.

Do it, those injectors are made for e85. My car runs so much better than when i had my asnu 1100 injectors. I havent even popped the p0300 code since switching to them. Didnt change anything but the injectors and a retune and made 50 extra whp and alot more torque.

The kit and exhaust was very well packaged. I was somewhat impressed with the packaging actually lol. The pictures are after I pulled all of the stuff out of the boxes. Now I play the waiting game. I was unable to get to AAM before they shipped the kit, so ill likely order the more heavy duty wastegate actuators later, but before I install the kit.

I run the OS giken twin disk with 800whp and 700ftlbs torque and it hold all of it just fine. The twin disk is very streetable and has given me zero problems at my power level. You should be more than fine Ontop of the fact h already own it I would call it good.
Congrats on the build man and good luck with the wife. Mine hates the cars guts with every fiber of her being and me whenever she hears it fire up :icon17:
Looking forward to good results

tturbo370z, what is your compression ratio on your motor? These guys have me questioning my choice lol.

I did mine 9:1 and this was before I ever new I wanted to do e85. On 91 I'm only good to around 570rw and with e85 we stopped at 800 since the turbo housing was about there anyway. The reasoning for the lower compression i was told was to be able to run the turbos in a better efficiency range. I'm not a builder or car expert but at the time it seemed to make sense. This was just the choice I made at the time with the turbos I'm using. I have wondered myself if I would have been better off on 10:1. I'm not worried about it as I can boost the $&@! Out of it and get however much power I needed. I only wanted 600rw on pump gas and then I fell short so added water meth kit but it only added 100whp so then I ditched the meth and ran e85. Run whatever compression that will allow your turbos to run in the range they are most efficient. I would say that's where u want to be .
