I'm assuming you have a vented hood? Where are you mounting the MAFs?

...still waiting for few parts (cj motorsports fuel rails are next) then aluminum air ducting for intercooler |
Neat idea but honestly that looks like it's going to be nothing but heat soak in that engine bay. Our engines already run super hot and adding a turbo in there will only increase that. Really does look cool though

I think he'll be fine. With the csf radiator and the vented hood. Such a bad @$$ setup... Wish there was more info in it. What turbo is being used btw? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
This is sweet. I expect it'll spool stupid fast. Do you have any details/pictures on how the hot side piping worked?

Looks great, hopefully you were able to cram a T4 exhaust housing under that turbo blanket. I like the out of the box thinking...but a lot of custom work. The FMIC outlet end tank is a good idea...to have one large tank on the outlet. It should (theoretically) provide nice even flow to both TB's.
I have a decent amount of experience with the V-mount IC's, and they don't always work that great to be honest. I find that a lot of duct work needs to be done to get as much air through the core as possible. FD's are notorious for this, and have heat soak issues. Hope it all works out...post results once they are in. |
In for results, saw this pop up on IG over the weekend and was curious on all the work, hope to see more details soon.

(Sorry about my writing. English is my second language) :tiphat:
I will post more details and pictures after we take car for Ecutek tune in March in Forged Performance. Everything is designed and Tick welded by my buddy Joseph Kenefic. All stainless tubes are back purged . I can't thank him more for awesome job (im just Helping him. I did few mig welds and mill and lathe work). He designed everything in detail and we have probably 500 hours in work so far. Duct work is next and we may add small Spal fan with termostat For more pictures @indynismo :tiphat: |
Looks like a nice work to me man! my best wishes to you buddy!

I love the out-of-the-box thinking. V-Mounts are slick. Which hood will you pair it up with? |
