I see you're looking into gauges. Can't go wrong with innovative Motorsports. Also I didn't go pillar. Here's my thread on the gauge "swap" I personally would go boost, a/f, and oil pressure. Also take a look at Podi. They make very good quality parts and they're dual electronic gauges can save some space. But if you really want to ball out you should buy the Defi multi gauge. Spot on and shows all the data at once using hard wired sensors like any other "real" gauge. No obd2 ****.

Replaced my factory Gauges!

Edit. Just remembered you have a g37 lol.

Thanks for the input. Yeah i don't think i have bid enough balls to do what you did. I will prob go with the gale force pillar. I know i want a/f, boost, oil pressure and fuel pressure. Lack of fuel=lean condition and melted pistons... Anyone know of a gauge that will show both oil and fuel pressure as i am limited to two pods with what i want to do

Check out Podi for real. They're a/f uses the innovative sending unit so it's the same ****. But they have 2 in one gauges that work great. My buddy's been running them in his fully built gli for years. The sending United are also very responsive. Left my prosports in the dust when it came to accuracy lol

If you're really serious about saving space. Check this out.... It's the real deal

I do like that unit, and it is not that much money, if it was only in a blueish color. I would like to drive it hard, and enter some shows so I would like a matching look. You can get the older style gauge for like 171 dollars on ebay with all the senors; seems like a steal to me. I am really looking for that GReddy one with three sensors. It would have boost, oil temp and oil pressure, I would then get a Invoate A/F along with a pillar pod. Thanks for all the advice guys, hopefully this weekend I can put up a few pictures before the work starts.

Have you guys seen inovates new combined boost controler gauge/ wideband afr gauge? It is a boost controller, boost gauge, afr gauge, and it has afr to boost feedback so it can cut boost if you go lean = the shiz

Edit: check out the scg1

That's not a problem. Just hook the solenoid up prior to teeing off to the two waste gates. That's how my boost control is hooked up now.

I will preface that I did not research the gauge in question.

I've been running an SCG-1 since it first came out. It's good stuff.

Love the pic GaleForce..... Your car is so sexy..... Think I will def be going with that gauge and boost controller. It must fit your pillar which I will be buying soon... One more thing, I think I'm going to get should of sasha and make an order change. I ordered open dump waste gates. Upon even more research I think they'll be way too loud. And I want to try and see if I can change to a hks bov.

I did look at the sg 1, I did not like that it had no boost by gear, so I went with the profec. I could not find the GReddy gauge but I was told in q-2-3 they will be releasing a new gauge. I do like the temp/af from Invoate but I am being a little indecisiveness. Going to work on the clutch next. I will email Zspeed to see if they have a Soutbend equivalent of a twin disk.

Yeah the boost by gear would be really nice. 1st gear is going to be a handful. Innovate does not have the boost by gear from what I see but I really like the gauge. My right foot can be the boost control too lol

The best way to set that up is to just run WG pressure in first and second gear and then full boost third and up. You aren't going to get traction in first even at WG pressure WOT. I typically short shift first into second.
GaleForce likes this.
