I thought the BP kit comes with a 340lph pump already?

Should talk to Sasha about the 1200cc fuel injectors and just by it with the kit instead of having him send you the smaller fuel injectors and end up not using them.

Should consider either the CJM or AAM intake manifold in teh future.

I went with the tuner version of this kit, still a few months out for some of the actual install.

Figured I could pick up a few of the items local in State and preserve a little Money'$

Thanks for your input.

Just out of curiosity, why 1200cc injectors? Do you have future plans for a built motor?

I don't think the 340 pump can pump enough fuel to ever use the capacity of the injector.

I'd go with Injector Dynamics 1000cc.

I did the tuner kit. Ended up having to order the pump install kit from CJM for $80. That put my build back about a week as I did pump last.

I hate pulling the pump!! Have probably done it 12 times between this and my old 350.

Yeah. Discounting the hose feed and getting the canister out without banging the float sucks.

TopgunZ 01-21-2016 07:34 AM

Yeah, and that ribbed line protector grabs every frickin time!

TopgunZ 01-21-2016 07:36 AM

Honestly, If I ever did this kit again, I would no doubt come up with a way to alert me if my scavenge pump was not running.

Shasha, do you drag race? I also have a request of a picture of the underside of a car on your lift. I always wondered how much or what can be worked on with e midrise lift.

YzGyz

You can get to everything with this lift:

Yes, the standard pump is 340lph.

I have Bosch EV14 1000cc injectors, and they are available for $550 shipped for those that are looking to go that rout.

Sasha - On the upgrade to 1000cc Bosch, do you need new pigtails or is it plug and play with the 750cc that came with the kit?

When I did mine the gas fumes made me sick and I had to stop for about 4 hours... which was stressful because I needed to tune the next day and be on my way back to FL the day after that!

Same pigtails, and since you already have them it would be $500 to you.

Nice. So a follow-up question. How do the Bosch compare to Injector Dynamics?

PongSanity 01-21-2016 10:17 AM
