The original prototype, my kit, and maybe 1-2 other early first gen kits are the only ones that have the BOV's in the engine bay. The kit was updated after that to have one BOV hidden behind the bumper for ultimate stealthiness.

Ahh ic. I read the whole thread of the single turbo build yesterday. I really liked seeing the two bov under the hood. If you have to open the hood to see it is say it's still "stealthy". So why the change? Two bov seems like it'd be more effective on preventing back pressure against turbo.

Quote:
1. One BOV is more than enough 2. Easier installation 3. Less parts 4. Stealthiness Edit... 1a. Keeps the BOV farther away from the MAF sensors

Thanks for the input esp 1a. Will be ordering a pillar from you soon. Just trying to decide if I want one or two pod. Been trying to find a gauge with oil and fuel pressure in one. Just ordered innovate boost controller yesterday. Given it has the safe cut for a/F will fuel pressure gauge be as important given the controller will cut boost in a lean condition?

Just get one of phunk's fp gauges that go in the engine bay. Fuel pressure isn't something you really need all the time. Keeping an eye on it during the tune is plenty if you're not going to be pushing the ragged edge on your setup.

CJM fuel tap w/ gauge. They're selling for the low right now. Z1 has a fuel tap w/ gauge also. Attached pic is my engine bay currently. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
