COG drive setup for SC

Most of you know I am running a stillen kit which I have fabbed over to an air to air setup. I made 490whp with the kit on 9.5psi. However,

Default COG drive setup for SC

Most of you know I am running a stillen kit which I have fabbed over to an air to air setup. I made 490whp with the kit on 9.5psi. However, I have a built motor and would really like to put it to good use. Now I can obviously go turbo, which I have already done in the past with this car, but I'd like to keep pushing this kit.

The problem is that I believe I am already overspinning the SC by just a tad over recommended rpms. This is not a track only car so I am not sitting in the high rpms on it for most of its use so that's not really a concern the way it sits.

I am looking for other options to get more psi out of it though. One route would be to swap the V3 out for a different unit.

However, I know guys have gone the cog route with some success. I am a bit confused by this however. How does this create more boost? If the impellar is spinning at 60K and maxed out with a groove belt and makes 10psi then how does a cog setup make it produce more boost?

I thought all it did was reduce belt slip. I guess that would increase boost if it was slipping on the grooved setup

You can do both reduce slip and spin it faster but you would need to rebuild the SC to handle the speed. I have a set sitting here but later realized it would be to much boost, I believe the info is in the air to air thread somewhere. I think it was Evohunter that told me where to get them.

Which setup for which area (9, 10 or over 10 PSI ):

- Where to buy (Vortech etc.)
- Which part number (type, etc.)

Cog Style Supercharger Pulleys - Corvette/350Z/Infiniti G35 | Vortech Superchargers

And where can you buy the best parts for the upgrade of the superchargers?
(Bearing etc. from 928 Motorsports, Vortech etc.)

With that setup are there any spacers that are involved or are they a direct replacement? Obviously there would be no slip but how much actual boost is created with them?

Cog setup was a bit*h. Constant belt ripping and slipping, took almost eight month to get a bracket to stop that. I wouldn't run it.
