Supercharger with rev sync

I was wondering how many members with supercharger use the rev match feature or so the run with it disabled....also for those that use it do the experience any issues/problems/complaints. I have been using mine since the supercharger and notice some issues with throttle response but I'm thinking that it's the throttle by wire issue

UpRev or Ecutek?

TopgunZ 12-12-2015 09:58 AM

I always have mine on. Never a problem here.

No problems with my GTM setup on road or track.

Jinxx 12-12-2015 02:46 PM

I have the uprev with the tune from gtm

Get it custom tuned. Also check out wstars throttle map and see if it helps with throttle response.

I don't have a supercharger, but since I had mine tuned, the Rev Match blips are seriously quick.

Not sure if I can edit the tune sent to me ... I think it is pass worded ....but I plan to get a custom tune .. Will uprev be able to tune that out or will I need the sprint booster?

You cannot edit the GTM canned tune, plus a tuner will not want to start with what someone else has done. They will start over and do a complete new tune for you.

And do NOT buy the sprint booster, it is worthless since you have Uprev.

It would take longer for someone to fix a Sam tune than it would to make a good tune anyway.

True

Jinxx 12-13-2015 01:51 PM

Are tunes from Sam really that bad ? I haven't had any trouble so fa with it other than its a little rich ........also I'm not sure if it is a Sam tune or not ...I got the kit from Z1 and the tune came from Jon from Z1 .....so I'm not sure if he made the tune or if it's a standard gtm Sam tune.

Chuck33079 12-13-2015 01:53 PM

You'd have to ask Jon. If it's Sams tune, he likely did not touch the throttle map or the fan tables. He left on a lot of codes he should have turned off on mine. It was a night and day difference when I went to a good tuner.

Jinxx 12-13-2015 04:27 PM

Lol well either way I do plan to get a custom tune ....not sure where I should go ...I had my 350 tuned at forged but that was a turbo ...I'm in SC and hate having to drive 4-5 hours to either forge or z1 ....is there anyone closer to Columbia SC ....

Supercharger with rev sync

AV tuning and development in North Charleston tune with EcuTek and they will mess with UpRev. They are probably the most knowledgeable of the Z platform in the area. Really good guys over there.
