OK thanks guys, seems to keep them more stable but I have hard connectors not pigtails so I was curious before I dropped rail back in

Jinxx 02-20-2016 07:57 AM

No I didn't reuse mine .... Everything seem tight and per my install instructions it said they wasn't needed.....I did try to put them back but they kept popping off so I gave up with them

OK,I got them back on just didn't line them up with the lock tab so it allows me to rotate injector,I'll install rail later tonight and see how it turns out,I found without the tab I could push injector to far into rail housing.

Looking good ... I would be sure to break apart the BPV and lube it very well. Mine got stuck with 2k miles on it and I had to take bumper off to get to it ..... Not sure if it was a bad idea o not but I used motor oil to lube it ... 10/30 synthetic and it's been good since.

Hydraulic oil or sewing machine oil works well to lube the bpv

Jinxx 02-27-2016 04:03 AM

Yea didn't have any at the time and read where some had used motor oil and claimed it to last a long time ....knock on wood .... I have a zclub meet today soooo it will prolly stick on me lol

Multi Spray BOV Lubricant 50ml

I use this on my BOVs every time I have the bumper off to clean the air filters. Amazon has it for about $15.

Took the bov apart today and used a little hydraulic oil on it,worked great

Jinxx 02-27-2016 10:42 PM

I'm testing mine to see how long it will last ... 3 weeks so far
