Stillen Supercharger kit and e85

Hey guys,

I've got e85 available to me with 3 servo's all within 5-15 mins of my area, I'm wondering if anyone has made the leap with the Stillen kit and if it would even be worth changing over, I'm running the 9lb kit..

I know on turbo platforms it helps a lot, but also you being able to run more boost safely will be the main power increase? Obviously boost with the supercharger kit will be the same, but can the tuning be made that much more aggressive and what sort of gains could be expected? would you even see a 10% increase?

I'll be upgrading to an air to air conversion once they are easily available, but would it be worth preparing for e85 before hand?

Cheers!

I'm on e85 with my a2a stillen. Never baselined it with petrol. So can't say how much it helps but it's all the same. If you gain 20whp going e on a turbo then the results will be the same with sc. It allows you to advance timing like crazy. I'm at 23*

E would make a greater impact on setups that are timing limited due to heat and excessive cylinder pressure. If you are still running the original Stillen w2a interwarmer, you could expect some impressive power over pump especially in the hot summer months. Like topgunz said, timing needs to be advanced in order to reap the benefit of running E.
